This was my first time ever patching a wall, and the "DAP Eclipse Rapid Wall Repair Patch" made it pretty stress-free. I have never been so happy with a home repair product. This patch was incredible. I don’t know how it works, but it does. It doesn’t sound like it would but just trust the package and me. I didn’t even use a roller for the paint as indicated and I still can’t tell where the hole was. Absolutely amazing product. Read more

I should have known this was too good to be true. I cut twelve holes in this wall to secure the floating shelves in my kitchen from the back. When I found out about this product, I thought it would be much easier to use this than to repair the sheetrock. I followed the instructions exactly and have experience with painting and construction (just saying the result is not because I cut corners or didn’t understand the process). If you look at them straight on, they aren’t extremely noticeable. However, if the light catches them even a little bit, or you get up close, you can very clearly see the patch. In fact, as you may notice in the pictures, you can see all of the edges, and the ridges of the circles, and the center. There’s no way that I can leave this like this. I’m going to have to either remove them and repair the sheet rock, or cover the entire wall list something. These are not an acceptable solution. Perhaps it would be slightly better with flat paint. I purchased this to repair holes by molding. Since it was round I needed to trim the patch. The adhesive is only on the edges it would not stick. Might have worked fine if it was not cut but not for my situation. Read more
