The media could not be loaded. I’m giving 4 stars because camera quality could be better and the video download speed it’s pretty slow. To download a 1 minute video it took close 2-3 minutes. But the wire is long enough that you can hide the wire easily and I loved how it came with a SD card already. I wanted a dash cam for my mother's car. Something simple for her. The little screen is small yet quite sharp and detailed. It records to a microSD card (included). You can also connect via your cellphone. The app gives you all the controls and access you need. The app is easy to navigate and connects quickly when you want to view what's recorded. This is a necessity since the camera isn't easily removable. It mounts to your windshield with heavy adhesive tape. For speedy access to the images, use the app. You can somewhat easily remove the microSD card and access with a computer. For recording her daily drives, it functions as you would think. Read more

I have used tons of dash cams over the years and for the price point, this one would be very hard to beat attempting to balance cost and quality. This dash cam kit comes with everything you need to install and have your cam up and running within ten minutes or less. Along with the camera itself, it includes a DC power cable that fits into any 12v power port or cigarette lighter port. The cable is very long, so no matter where you want to place it in the interior of your vehicle, you should have enough power cable to do so. Additionally, it is fitted with an adhesive windshield mount and came with a 32gb microSD card for memory. After mounting it where I wanted (I chose to use it right next to my rearview mirror), I spent a little time running the power cord through my headliner and down the A-pillar of the interior. This kept the cable out of view and made for a nice clean looking install. After installing the microSD card and powering it up, I went for a drive to see how well it would record, I have to say it was impressive for what your paying. Playing back the video from the 32gb microSD card on my computer, the video is a crisp 1080P, and I was even impressed with the frame rate. Even at highway speeds, the video tracked perfectly and there was no video tearing or blurring. It comes with some decent options for how it records and other audio/video adjustments. It's been over a month now and even in the freezing cold weather, it powers up every time I start my vehicle and is constantly recording on a loop. For the price point, ease of install, free memory card, and really decent video quality, I give it five stars! My last camera had so many features that it kept stopping the recording because it would lock the video and run out of space. I could not stop this from happening, so I replaced it with this one. This is a basic 1080p camera. It starts recording automatically when powered on and overwrites videos once the SD card fills. No complicated settings. There is an App that you can use to view the camera and download videos as well as setting the default size of each recorded file. However, you can simply install the camera and start using it without the app. If you need the videos, you can remove the SD card and use it in a computer to copy off the videos. The videos are an AVI file format so they are easily read on a PC or MAC. The camera has a wide angle, so it easily captures everything in front of you. There is a small screen on the camera that you can use to align the picture. This turns off after a few minutes. There is a button on the side that when pressed will turn the screen back on. When using the App, you need to connect to the camera as a hotspot. Use "12345678" for the password. This was not listed anywhere. They include a 32GB SD card. Read more
