This kit had everything I needed to install the same brand of dashcam. I'll be honest, it made me nervous installing myself because I thought the only one I had was under the hood of my car. Turns out that I did have one by my foot pedals, and I had so much extra length to work with. It was pretty straightforward to install with the help of ChatGPT walking me through everything. For those who have never done this before: - the voltage indicator can be used on the top of fuses you currently have installed - you can ground the indicator to one of the nuts on the fusebox frame - some of the empty spaces in the fuse box are not wired, so nothing will trigger - you pull out the correct sized fuse in your current configuration in order to plug in the wiretap (colors/numbers don't matter) - it's really cramped, so have a flashlight and work in daylight - I found it helpful to have the USB plugged into the dashcam first so I could hide the extra cable underneath I never really figured out the voltage shutoff feature. It has a recommended amount depending on if your car is 12V or 24V (ChatGPT to the rescue), but I have a plug-in hybrid and I think the number is wrong - it looks like it records non-stop and will fill up the SD card in one night.
