This is a great little dashcam. Looks nice and the quality of it really surprised me. It was super simple to install and took me a few minutes and I was ready to go. I like that it has a wide angle camera so that it captures the entire road in front of you and behind you while you're driving. Works great at night too. Has a bunch of little features like the sensor that will capture and save your footage if it senses you were in an accident. It comes with a 32 GB memory card, which is a nice bonus. The dash cam is clear and was easy to install. The instructions were clear. The only down side is the camera is not adjustable on the windshield. It probably is fine if your windshield is slanted but in a jeep, the windshield is not slanted so the camera would record my hood or the sky. If you drive a jeep, this camera won’t work. Read more

I just installed this dash cam in my truck, and to my surprise it only lasted about two weeks before completely dying. Total waste of money if you ask me. We installed it exactly as the instructions said and even purchased the extra wiring kit so the camera could have constant power.This morning we noticed the screen had gone black. It won’t turn on at all. We checked every wire, connection, and fuse—everything is fine. The camera itself just stopped working out of nowhere. We even tried using the original car charger cable that came with it, and still nothing. I’m honestly really frustrated because the reviews looked great, so I’m not sure if we just got a lemon or what happened. But based on my experience, I will not be purchasing anything from this brand or seller again.Please make sure to read all reviews carefully before buying. Read more

I purchased 2 of these. One for each car. Both cars are 2017 Chevy Cruze, one though, is the hatchback version. Camera placement is NOTHING like the example in the manual or videos. It pretty much has to be placed about 1/5inch above the Dash and about 3 inches to the right side of the Security flashing light on the dash. This position will actually have it showing the cars in front of you just over the hood. If you try to place it anywhere else (other than low and centered) the camera will be pointing other directions, including the skyward, as well as have some odd angle of recording that is not level. One of the 2 cameras, the screen does not stay on more than 1m6s, the timer on screen starts over every 1m. The other the screen stays on constantly but even though Im on a smooth road, the device constantly flashes the Collision Alert. Though both of these devices are the SAME, one of the chargers has 3 holes, on the charger top, in the center with blue lights in 2 of them. While the other has 3 holes on both sides of the charger top, with red lights coming out of only 2 of the 3 holes on one side. I was looking for a Questions area to find out if either of the 2 devices is working correctly and which one it is, but the only thing I could find was the review area. So, my take on this device is that between the 2, I have 1 that functions 50% correctly, maybe. Both turn off shortly after turning off the car. And come on right after starting the car. There is no internal battery. In order to keep them on for Parking Collision and recording, you will need a battery kit. Thoughts on this make me wonder if a USB battery storage cannot be placed between the Camera and the charger connector. I may end up returning both of these unless the seller can identify and enlighten my on what I may have done wrong between the 2 cameras. Ill give it another week and then return them. Read more

Update! So have had this for a little while now and absolutely love it!!!! I wish there was a bigger SD card that came with it but I can buy one. It is small enough not to distract you while driving. Definitely need to pick better placement for the back camera because the sun glare is bad straight on. Besides that, I totally recommend it to anyone. I am buying three more so my daughters and husband can have one in each of their vehicles. Easy to install and works great so far. Love that I can see both front and back camera views! Good clear picture in day and night, works well. Instructions are a bit unclear but it's not exactly complicated to figure out. They provide an electrostatic film you apply to the window and then stick the camera to that. Been on for a month now and the double sided tape is still good. G sensor for crashes is a bit sensitive and has saved videos from hitting potholes but I'd rather it be too sensitive than not sensitive enough. Used in my 2018 Raptor with a generic hard wire kit to the fuse box I also got on Amazon. Only note would be that it has a pretty low volume chime that sounds every time you start the truck. Would be nice if you could turn that off but it's so quiet it's not annoying and doesn't really matter. Read more
