This kit makes it easy to hardwire a dashcam into your car. It comes with everything you need. The fuse adapters can work with almost any car or truck. There are 4 types of fuses that are used for modern vehicles. Your car will use one of these types. The kit comes with 2 adapters for each type. So you will only use one set and ignore the other three. There are also 12V and 24V vehicles. You have to choose the voltage your vehicle supplies. The control box is how you make the voltage selection. There are dip switches that you set for the voltage. There are also dip switches so you can choose how long the dashcam stays active after you turn off your car. This can range from 1 hour to always on. As a bonus, there is an LED that show you the voltage. This comes with a very complete manual that shows you how to configure the dip switches as well as how to connect the wires, and even how to install and run the wires with an example of how to remove the A pillar. The only problem with the kit is the size of the manual. It is printed on a double-sided color paper that is folded into a booklet. However, it is a very small booklet and the type is so small that I could not read it without a magnifying glass. It's a shame that they put so much work into creating a great manual and then printed it so it is hard to use. Read more

This CommSin hardwire kit is exactly what I needed to get my dash cam recording 24/7 while the car is parked. It was easy to hook up and the long cables made it simple to hide the wires behind the panels for a super clean, stock look. ​One thing to note: the kit comes with several different types of fuse taps, including Small, Mini, and Medium. However, since I’m installing this in a Jeep, I had to go out and buy some Micro2 fuse taps separately to match what the Jeep takes. ​The adjustable low voltage protection is a great feature, and I set mine to 11.6V to make sure I don't run the battery down too far. Good product easy installation, durable, and it actually work well. Installation was easy with the fuse jumper, especially with the video that you can find online. Worked perfectly with my Dashcam, truly a good value for the money. So far it looks to be well made, I would still avoid any sharp corner or edges when running the wires. Overall, a good value, better than routing wires thru the cigarette lighters outlet or car USB ports. Read more
