I purchased this OBD Cable to power a dash cam in my 2019 CLA-250. It’s easy to tell if it’s compatible. Just check the OBD outlet to see how many pins it will take to plug in. Your cars owner’s manual will show you the location of the OBD outlet. Mine was easily accessible. Forgive the terminology if it’s not correct I’m not a “car person”. Installation was easy! At first I was concerned about it draining my battery having it plugged in all the time. The first few days I unplugged it whenever I stopped the car. Didn’t want to risk coming out to a dead battery. One weekend I chanced it and left it plugged in on a Friday night. The next morning, the garage was not burned down and car started right up! lol Success! I’ve left it plugged in since then and it works like a charm! Never think twice about it, it just works. It was a bonus not having to pay the high cost to have the dash cam hardwired but still having the convenience of constant connectivity!
