I’m really happy with this car camera. The video quality is clear both during the day and at night, and it captures license plates and details better than I expected for the price. Installation was quick and straightforward, even without much technical experience. The camera starts recording automatically when the car turns on, which is super convenient, and the wide-angle view covers the road well. I love that I can get a view of front and rear perpectives. Overall, this feels like a reliable dash cam and gives me extra peace of mind while driving. Definitely a good value and I would recommend it. The only small downside is that the app takes a little time to get used to, but once set up, it works smoothly. It’s a solid dash cam and a good value for the price! Read more
Camera is clear. One thing though I wish I can access the app without having to turn the camera on. Read more
This dash is a lot better than the other in the same price range. Small, and efficient. I personally hate big giant dash cams that take up a lot of the windshield, especially with big screens showing you what you’re recording. This is small and out of the way of your vision. The small camera that’s for the rear is pretty good too, it comes with some mounting tape, although it gives you an option to screw it on to the exterior. Straight forward install, wiring is easy to tuck in the gaps of the headliner. Very comparable to the blackvue models, but those range from 150-700 depending on models. EDIT: only lasted a week until it completely stopped working. Read more
Amazing deal for a 4K front and rear dash cam that even includes a 32GB card! The night vision and wide-angle view really capture every detail. It’s compact, lightweight, and doesn’t block my view. Easily one of the best purchases I’ve made for my car. The real-life recording capability is excellent — it automatically starts when the car powers on and saves clips immediately when motion or impact is detected. The fuse-powered parking mode gives me constant protection even when the engine is off. I’ve tested it during both day and night drives, and the WDR and night vision keep footage bright and detailed under all conditions. Overall, this dash cam delivers professional-level performance with simple everyday operation. Long battery live... A+++++ Read more
It can be used with and without WiFi, but if you want to use the cameras without WiFi, you will need to be able to pull out the 32 GB memory card and own a card reader. The tiny memory card comes with the front camera. It is located on the side of the dash camera. That area is busy with the power cord and the rear camera connectors. WiFi gives you access to an app used to control various camera features and to view the video recordings. The installation begins with the problem of setting out, protecting and hiding the wires which run from your cigarette lighter socket past your display panel or radio onto your dash to the camera. Cameras are stuck to the dash with a strong adhesive tape. The wire for the rear camera runs from the dash camera to either the ceiling (or to the floor) to the back of the car to the rear camera. That's is not easy and is time consuming because you need to hide the wire to keep family and pets from snagging it by accident. If that's an issue for you, you can consider using only the front camera to start out with just to get something recording. Later do the rear camera. If you have WiFi and have set-up the front camera wiring, the camera will start recording automatically. However even though I don't have WiFi by way of my cellphone or through a prescription service, it will record automatically on my memory card inside the front camera housing. Once you get the tiny memory card out, you need a memory card reader. I don't have one on my iMac, so I will need to buy one. So in order to complete this DIY project. I will need to either buy a memory card reader or add Wi-Fi to my cellphone opr subscribe. Once I decide, I will need to set-up the rear camera. The cameras are heavy duty plastic, the connectors all fit, and the wire is sturdy. It comes with mounting supplies and small tools. Read more
This is a really affordable dash camera. This model records the front and rear of the car, not the interior. The camera has a wee screen for playback. It came with everything I needed to install and operate the camera. Installing is very difficult because proper installation requires removing multiple interior panels on the car. This should not be attempted unless you have experience with installing new hardware in vehicles. It is very easy to hurt yourself or damage your vehicle otherwise. Read more
