This makes great ice cream. I have only tried the chocolate, great. Vanilla will be the deciding factor. It's hard to get that taste down, most of the time it tastes like medicine to me. The consistency is wonderful (freeze 48 hours). Barely any noise, easy to use, and it is a breeze to clean. The value for your money is wonderful. Ice cream is expensive now. We have Handles and it's pricey. Read more

I love this product. It takes about thirty minutes to make ice cream and I can add different things to the ice cream when it is almost frozen. It makes about a quart and a half and I am using it once or twice a week. I have discovered that you don't want to leave the freezer bowl in the freezer. Just leave it at room temperature and put it in the freezer at least 24 hours before making your ice cream. By doing this, the ice cream freezes much better than when you just leave it in the freezer between batches. I have been making vanilla ice cream and adding chopped up Heath Pieces instead of chocolate chips. I add the Heath pieces after the ice cream has been mixing for twenty minutes. Read more

This ice-cream maker works well. The blade does tend to become unattached as the ice-cream mixture freezes, but works better when there is more mixture inside the bucket. I have made strawberry sorbet and frozen yogurt. Both were good, not the same texture as store bought, but close enough. If you eat it right away the texture is better, however if you store it in the freezer after it is made, you should leave it to thaw for about 15 minutes before eating it so that the texture becomes creamy instead of solidly frozen. I store the bucket in the freezer, so it is ready to go whenever we want ice-cream. It only takes about 20-25 minutes to make almost 2 quarts of frozen yogurt. Wish it had a clear lid to see what is happening inside the bucket while it's churning. It is nice and quiet while it churns, and is very easy to clean. Does a good job for the money. Read more

So far so good! Nice little ice cream maker - fun to use, easy to clean, size is perfect for a small batch, and seems to function okay. Ice cream does not set as frozen as a standard ice cream maker, but is still delicious and we just put the leftovers in a freezer safe container for later. Read more

My friend absolutely loves this Dash. She has decided that she will never buy ice cream from the store again because now she knows exactly what ingredients go in. She loves the ease of making delicious ice cream for her family now. She uses this almost daily! Thank you, Dash, for making gift-giving so easy! Read more

I will start off with the positives: It made very smooth fat free frozen yogurt with no issues at all. We just turned it on, added the yogurt and 20min later it was done. The texture was perfect soft serve. Cons: The build is very flimsy. So much so that when turned on it would slightly deform when churning and make an unusual sound. The plastic is very thin and would easily become brittle and crack over time. If dropped by accident it would most certainly crack. The connections for the "ring" do not solidly connect. I guess it's a "hit or miss" scenario meaning you may get lucky and never have an issue or more likely the plastic will crack over time. So, while it churns good frozen desserts it's a crap shoot whether it will stand up over time. Read more

Great ice cream maker, I have no problems assembling it correctly and it operates like a dream. Makes great ice cream and a fraction of what you would pay for the higher-end brand. Read more

My boyfriend wanted to get a Ninja Creami, but I believe in always trying the cheaper option first and this was a great choice! I've used other Dash products before so I knew I could trust the brand. After watching some YouTube videos and reading the instructions, I decided to give it a try. It's pretty easy to use! I freestyled my first batch and it partially froze to the churning bowl, but I still managed to get a full edible batch out: mixed berry cheesecake. The second batch, I followed the recipe for the cookies and cream from the recipe book. Super freaking easy!!! This was so easy and good. I swapped out the regular ingredients with Splenda and keto cookies so that it was keto. Both batches tasted great and had a good consistency. I wish it came in a bigger size, but this size lasts two people about 2-3 small servings each. We don't each big servings. The machine itself is pretty big and annoying to to store. As far as noise, it's quieter than my Ninja blender so I can't complain. All in all, it's a great purchase for the price! Read more
