The media could not be loaded. My mai tais are now Polynesian snow cones, and my martinis all skate. I finally have a good ice crusher, and it even matches my coffee maker's color. Hashtag life goals, or something. I've had this delightful little aquamarine friendo in my kitchen for about six months now, and it's been a great investment. It never fails. It's a frosty little soldier always ready for action. For that reason alone, I can only give it a full five-star review. There are a few minor nits, though. For my part, it's mainly worked out great because I have one of those fridges that makes the perfect-sized ice chip to work well with the crusher. If you're hoping for a machine that can handle full-sized cubes from an ice tray, best forget it. This dainty little tuffy can't hack it. It even gets emotional when I accidentally allow two (or, gulp, more!) conjoined chip twins to enter its fan-blade maw (see image). Single chips only, or your glass will be lonely. Also, it's a little challenging getting the pitcher locked in with the stirring arm attached. You have to kanoodle it a bit before it's copacetic (see video). However, if you're just crushing three or four chips for a layer of martini ice (as referenced by the Revered Horton Heat), the stirring arm really isn't necessary. It's more for when you're crushing a full pitcher for a gaggle of drunken daiquiri beggars. Seriously, how many buckets of rum will these people drink before they can just go to sleep already? One last thing. This thing is pretty loud for such a shorty. My apartment neighbors definitely know when beverages are afoot. It's a got dang chainsaw. Made for kids -- extremely safe and easy to use, e.g., has NO on/off button. Is extremely stable but hard to move b/c sits on many suction cups. Has a slightly defective manual. I thought I was missing a part and would have returned it if it were in the warranty period. ● The most important part (contains the shaving blade) is NOT removable, unlike what the manual says. ● That could be a problem since it will probably get moldy over time. To prevent this, it must be consistently dried out perhaps with a hair dryer/fan. Has NO dishwasher-safe parts according to the manual. Read more

I wanted a snow cone maker to make snow cones for my grandchildren. This snow cone maker is just the right size and makes excellent snow cones! It is easy to clean, easy to use. It has suction cups on the bottom so it’s not sliding all over the counter. So far, we are loving having snow cones. Read more

I wanted to share my experience in case it helps others. After some use, I noticed the plastic lid was gradually wearing down. Thin plastic strands were falling into the ice chamber during operation. Because this is a food-contact area, I wasn’t comfortable continuing to use the device. I’ve stopped using it and contacted the company to report the issue. I’m not sure if this was an isolated defect or a design issue, but I wanted to mention it so others can keep an eye on the lid area if they purchase this model. Read more

This is supposed to make "shaved ice." It has 3 settings: Coarse, Medium, and Fine. Our refrigerator ice maker makes half-round cubes which fit nicely into the upper part. However, if I set this device for Fine, half the shaved ice and half of each cube are still caught between the upper and lower parts and never go into the cup below--no matter how long I let it run. If I set it on Coarse, everything gets ground up with just a very small amount of ground up ice still trapped. Even if I am able to get enough Fine ice into the cup and add the other power and liquid ingredients, I can let the machine continue working for 10 minutes and I will still have a mixture consisting of ice particles and not slush.
