This is exactly what I needed. I just installed it two days ago and it is working as expected. Hopefully it will continue to hold as I travel and the sun beats down on it. The alcohol wipes were a nice addition to help clean the area prior to installing. Read more

PROS: 1. These are definitely strong and will hold heavier items on a flat surface. 2. Works great, especially if you purchase a cellphone holder for your dashboard (the heavier ones with the telescopic bar and truly are too heavy to clip onto your a/c vents). 3. Wider holder and fits phones with larger/thicker cases. 4. Truly silicone (see cons too) 5. If they loose their top adhesion, easy to replace. 6. Mine lasted 4 years on my dashboard, perfectly holding my heavy cellphone and adjustable up, down, out closer, and pushed in further away from me in the driver's seat. 7. Able to turn your phone vertically and horizontally. 8. I like it's easy keeping my phone information (contacts, texts, even navigation) seperate from the vehicle's factory installed radio face with Android/Carplay. I just do not like my passengers to have access to stored information on my phone (especially teenagers) to review past texts, GPS history, etc CONS: 1. Since they are silicone, they will become extremely hot. If you choose to mount on your dashboard, they REALLY become adhesive, harder to pull off. 2. Plastic dashboards are easy to remove the sticky residue once you end up having to pull off, but you can easily remove with a little bit of rubbing alcohol and no scrubbing leading scratches on your plastic dashboard see CONS. CONS: 1. These are NOT good for those vehicles which have leather dashboards. Aren't easy to remove the residue off leather dashboards. 2. Silicone melts I'm the hot sun. 3. The top adhesion will also melt onto the bottom of a mounting system. Once you remove your mounting system, you will have to buy another mounting system (if you use it to mount on your dashboard). I got a newer vehicle not knowing this and when I tried to remove the silicone top from the bottom of my phone mounting system, it wasn't possible. Read more

Are you one of those drivers that gave up on the window suction mounts and bought a dash mounted phone holder/charger? Did it fall off and got all messed up? Are you about to throw out that otherwise-working phone holder? Well dont! First buy this thing and paste it on the dashboard Second run the suction side of your holder in warm water tap and clean of the dust and stuff Third, after it dries - now you will see this just saved you $20 of new phone mount and also the plastic waste going to landfill. So long as your suction cup has no tear or is not brittle, you will have a good hold and its able to hole a iphone 13 Pro Max without support on a bumpy ride! I have noticed the suction peels of if I park the car under the sun. But then, average temperature reaching 97-100, Im surprised these things didnt melt. Worth the purchase. I was able to use 2 of those in both our suvs. The adhesive sticks and holds even in hot sun. Read more
These stick okay, but if you are trying to mount your magnetic phone holder in a spot where there is direct sun, the adhesive won't last. Pretty typical of 3M's consumer-grade adhesives, though. Even mounting in a lower area on my dash panel where there is no direct sun didn't help. As the car heats up in the hot weather, the adhesive gets gummy, and any application of weight causes it to pull away. I ended up driving two small screws through it (does not seem to impact the application of the suction cup from the phone holder) only because I have an older vehicle and two little holes in the dash are not a big deal. The suction cup on my phone holder does stick very well because these discs created a flat, non-textured surface to grab on to, but the adhesive on them is meh. Read more
