I was skeptical buying this because of the low price. My battery was completely dead (no lights, no clicks, nada). I have and 8 cylinder, 5.7 litre Hemi in a 2004 Dodge Durango. I followed the instructions and fully charged it before the first use. To my surprise, it started my car right up on the first attempt. It's pretty lightweight, comes with a carrying case, and is very easy to use. I have recommended this to my family and friends. The only thing that I wasn't happy about is that it does not come with a charger or charging cable. Luckily I had several just laying around the house that I could use. Definitely worth the money--you'll get the best bang for your buck with this little gadget. Read more
I purchased this with the mentality better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. It came sooner than expected and charged it up so I could be prepared. In the back of my mind I was wanting to use it but wasn't sure when I would get the chance, I would say within 2 weeks I got my answer. I pulled into work and one of my coworkers was in the parking lot with their hood up and another car trying to give them a jump. Apparently they had been trying for like 20 minutes and couldn't get it started. So I pulled into a spot and grabbed my jumper, he didn't look too impressed, yes I have cables but this is easier. Plus, no chance of sparks. I hooked it up and he tried 20 seconds later turning it on and sure if enough his car started. He chuckled and thanked me and we both went on our ways. Long story short, if you're on the fence about getting a jumper. Give this one a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Read more
I saw others have battery jump packs and never saw the point. Our kid in college came home for the weekend and their car would not start in the cold. I did not like the idea of them being far away with battery issues, and bought one to throw in the car. I ended up being able to replace the car battery before they went back, and the DBPower battery arrived a few days later. When it arrived I thought to myself... that was waste of money because I don't need it any more. To my surprise I have used it several times over the last year. It beats dragging the charger out, or getting out the jumper cables and trying to line up the cars so the cables will reach. My wife has a newer car that shuts the engine off at every stop. When it got cold out, her car battery did not have enough power to start. I had left the power pack in the back of my SUV for months, and it had plenty of power to start her car. I knew the car was going to shut off at the next stop sign, and being able to throw the power pack in the car was a relief. Trying to jump start a car with jumper cables at a stop sign does not sound fun or safe. Everyone should have at least one of these to be able to throw in a car that is having battery issues. We have a set of jumper cables in every car we own, and I would recommend everyone else to do that as well. My mom had a older jump pack from another vendor in her car, but when I went to use it years later, the battery was no good. I would assume the battery will someday fail on all jump packs, so jumper cables are still a good idea. I am not ready to buy one of these for every car I own, as we do have jumper cables in an emergency. However, having at least one jump pack is a good idea to be able to throw in a car that is having battery issues. My review is meant for jump packs in general. The DB Power has been a good one though. I have used it to start a vehicle several times without needing to recharge the battery. I was able to help a person at convenience store with it once. They were parked in the middle of two cars. They asked if I had some jumper cables, and I suggested I could do one better. Grabbed the battery pack, attached it in a minute or two, and their car started right up. I even used it to charge cell phones and a computer once during an extended power outage. I am happy with it so far. Read more

Seems to be ok. I jumped my predator generator no sooner than I got it, lol. I thought it was a bummer they include the charging cable but not the charging block. I guess you are supposed to have one just laying around somewhere. 😆 Read more

I’m a single lady on my own and a lot of times I’m traveling in my own. This battery jump starter makes me feel safer when I’m out on the road or in town. It’s a more confident way to get a jump start without having to carry bulky jumper cables and finding another car to give you that jump. This battery pack also has a flash light and will charge your smart devices. I was so impressed with it that a shared with friends and at least 2 of them purchased from my share. I also bought 2 more for gifts. My son is in the military and is in the field a lot with work or hunting. This was a perfect gift for him to keep in his truck wherever he goes! Read more
