Debrox is a well-established brand for ear cleaning products that I have used for years. This is the first time I have tried these outer-ear wipes, and I can confirm they work well. The major advantage is the convenience these offer. Each ear cleaning wipe is individually saturated with a proper amount of solution. The wipes hold up well to pressure and do not tear or break apart. The wipes easy dissolve any surface wax and remove dead skin on the outer-ear. I would say this does a better job than simply using a washcloth and soap and water. At 12 per pox and for the cost, this may not be the most cost-effective option, but the result and convenience are very good with this product, and I know the solution is safe and formulated for my ears. These are perfect for a quick ear wipe and are portable. For occasional usage, I feel these serve a good purpose. I am satisfied with this product and the results. Read more

Not quite sure what makes these special, besides a few ingredients you don't get on other wipes. Essentially an ear-sized wipe so you can clean out your ears when you're on the go. Or not. Not like the liquid Debrox you use to loosen wax and rinse out your ear canals. An alternative to q-tips and cotton balls and washcloths. But you don't want to stick it down your ear canal. Do what the instructions say. Wrap it around a finger, wipe your ear clean, don't stick the finger down your ear canal. So, they do what they say they do, but don't really think that these are really worth it when you consider all the alternatives. They might be great for you, especially if you're doing things and stuff gets in your ears and you want to get it out. But not all that different from a regular wipe. Read more

My outer ears develop white crusts in the folds all the time. It's very annoying, and cleanup usually results in scratching the skin which sometimes bleeds. This product seemed like an answer to that problem, and it is. It gently cleans the outer ears folds and is pretty effective for my use case. However, the wipe's size is humongous and wasteful, and the price is too steep for the amount of wipes you get. I would have liked something smaller-sized like those individually-packed alcohol pads. Right now I cut the wipe to a small piece to use and keep the rest in a ziplock bag; but it's not that sanitary and I don't like it. Now that I've tried this, I think I will try a thin layer of cotton pad soaked in skincare toner which is already in my skincare routine. In this economy, unfortunately, this product feels like a luxury purchase. Read more

These Debrox ear cleansing wipes are simple, convenient, and effective for daily use. The fact that they’re individually wrapped makes them easy to carry in a gym bag, travel kit, or just keep in the bathroom without worrying about them drying out. They’re gentle but do a good job cleaning the outer ear area, and they don’t leave behind any residue or strong scent. Perfect for quick, everyday maintenance. Overall, a handy product that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. 5 stars. Note: I received this item for free through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I got these Debrox wipes because, as I've gotten older, the skin around, in, and behind my ears sometimes gets dry and itchy. Washing with water is a mess. These are individually wrapped wipes designed for use in and around the ears. They are simple to use. Cut open the foil packet, easily remove one 6-inch x 12-inch wipe from its packet, wrap it around your index finger, and clean the ear, ear canal, and behind the ear. The wipe is a good size for its job. They are made by Debrox, so you know they will be safe and effective. However, at six bucks for a box of 12, I think they are too pricey for daily use. But for occasional use when I get itchy, they are fine. Read more

Someone in my family has extremely waxy ears and I thought it might give this a try. The doctor really doesn’t want people to stick anything in your ear to clean them, so no cotton swabs or anything. They recommended we just use a wipe and remove any visible wax, but not go deep into the ear canal at all. I found these wipes to be convenient and effective since they’re individually wrapped. They are large and durable enough to hold up to the simple wiping motion needed for a quick clean. Since I sometimes notice wax building up but we’re out and about having a little wipe available and handy is nice. The brand says they are pH balanced which I know is important for your general skin care, but don’t know how important it is for occasional ear cleanings, but I think it should still be helpful! I like them, but with the cost at about 50 cents/wipe I am not sure the value is great, though the convenience and having a safe ear cleaning option at hand on the go or in the car is a plus for me. You get 12 individually packaged ear wipes in this box. Each wipe is fairly large (see photo) -- enough to do both ears easily. I almost think they are too large, however. The wipes DO clean well. My ears feel really clean after swiping them with the wipe. However, it's important to note that all you can clean is the outer ear and just a bit of the ear canal. So if you want to go earwax hunting, these really won't help much. While I think the cost is a bit much for what you get, these are effective for outer ear cleaning and would be good to take on vacation. Overall, 4 stars seems fair. Read more
