This is the most ingenious creation to cat proof a couch or furniture, and its very attractive as well. I have two adorable felines who have a variety of sisal scratching posts, they use them, but nothing beats the good old sofa. They already totalled a beautiful, stuffed chair and ottoman. I had purchased sofa covers before, they got ripped, frayed, stained, and were hard to get fur off. Well someone dreamed deep and came up with the ultimate couch cover! You can not rip it. It comes in so many sizes! The colors are attractive. It stays in place. It has this thick backing that makes it not slide around. It also makes it pretty heavy and expensive feeling. This is an excellent value for the money as you won't need to replace it unless you need a new color. Then again, all the colors are pretty neutral that they would go with any decor. As much as they try, the cats can't even leave a scratch. Plus, it's easy to get the hair off of the Sofa cover! No static electricity either. If you pour or spill liquid on it, it rolls right off. This cover is truly magic. It's both thin and made out of sturdy material to prevent claw marks. It repels and has to ability to hold liquids as well. My cat peed on it and the pee did not penetrate the cover. It's not the most attractive cover unless you tuck it into the cushions but it will protect your couch. Read more
Great cover. A little bland in looks, but the shade works for us. It is definitely water proof, as my cat peed on it and we washed and dried it and it was like new! No smell. Have gone through a few couch covers having returned them all. This is the only one that is actually genuinely waterproof. If there is liquid, it will form into a puddle & actually drip off rather than absorb. Has saved my couch for sure. Others claiming to be waterproof actually absorbing it & leaking it into my couch… It’s also hardy enough to protect my couch for when they dig their claws in. It looks good, is a comfortable material on the skin & also pretty easy to vacuum the fur off. Absolutely worth the money. This cover has saved my life! Note: Because it is waterproof it can be extra to wash/dry in the machine, you just have to make sure to give an extra spin & put it through 2 drying cycles & make sure to unbundle it a few times through the drying process so the whole thing dries thoroughly. These covers are really worth the money. I bought two of them to cover a loveseat and a couch when my grandkids visit. The kids are very allergic to my cats, and even deep cleaning hasn't helped in the past. But these covers did the trick! They are very durable. Tight know, thick material, stops pet dander from surfacing. It's even waterproof, so bonus points for saving my couch from a spilled cup of coffee! I bought them in gray. The color is nice. There is a slip resistant pattern on the back to help keep them in place. Before I bought these, I tried 2 other brands but returned them due to poor quality. Absolutely love this cover!!! I bought it to put over my sofa so my puppy wouldn’t destroy it jumping on & off it all day long. It stays in place and is large enough that it covers every inch of the sofa. I couldn’t be happier, would definitely recommend for anyone looking to protect the furniture from pets. This couch cover is heavyweight it covers the couch part well but doesn’t cover the sides enough to keep the cat from scratching. I do like that you can wash and it still looks nice even after several washes. I wash it once a week and I have had it for a while now. Read more
