I really enjoy this laptop but it's way bigger than I thought it was going to be. I have been using 15" computers for a while but didn't realize 2 inches would make that bis a difference. I was wrong! It also meant that the keyboard was spread out as well which made it a challenge to touch type for a while. Like others, I have had issues with the buttons below the touch pad, but I don't use them much. I'm old school and still use a mouse. I am having to send it in for a warranty repair. The charging port seems to have come loose. I have to wiggle the cord to make it connect. I'm glad I still have my old laptop to use while this one is gone. I have been a HP man up until now but have come to like this computer and would recommend it. Just wish I had bought one with Thunderbolt. Maybe next time. Read more
This was a gift for my son. I helped him set it up and it was a breeze to do so. The resolution is excellent. It is too soon to tell how well it will work in the long run but my son loves it. He told his father he "wasn't sure he had been that good in 2023 to deserve it." Read more
I was very happy to find this computer--not on the Dell website. This is the 17", 2021 version of the Dell Inspiron that preceded it and ran for 4 years when my heavy, daily use meant I always had to replace a laptop in 2 years. I've had laptops from many different manufacturers through the years, but after such great service from my previous laptop, I didn't consider anything but a Dell. Read more
