I didn't expect much from this when I bought it. I've been trying to find a good manual lint brush to stop using the disposable adhesive ones and haven't had a lot of luck finding anything worthwhile. I thought the extra doo-dads on it were gimmicks, but the price was good and I figured I'd give it a shot. It actually works really, really well! I use it specifically for cat hair on furniture and clothing and it does a fantastic job of grabbing the hair off of fabrics. Linens, cotton, synthetics, furniture upholstery, it'll clear up all of them. It pulls up the bulk of everything and does so quickly, but does leave some strays. Adhesive rollers will pick up everything, but that's also part of the problem, they fill up quickly with fine material and loose fibers from the fabric that aren't necessarily things you want to remove. You're constantly ripping off clogged adhesive sheets that stop being sticky after a quick swipe because they're grabbing more than necessary. This roller gets the important stuff and isn't impacted at all by getting saturated. It's super easy to clean out when needed. Only critiques are that the plastic shell is kinda bulky which can make getting into certain areas tricky and that it works best when the surface is flat. If you're trying to lint-roll clothing while someone is still wearing the garment, it'll have more trouble doing its job than if that same garment is laying flat on a hard surface. I 10000000000000% recommend this product. I have a couch that can pick up hair easily but with this product going back and forth it picks up the hair easily!! It’s not meant for crumbs but it leaves only a few behind. I have this super tedious carpet that my vacuum doesn’t pick up big chunks of hair due to the carpet fabrics and I clean my whole carpet with this tool alone. It has saved my life in keep the hair off, I finally feel comfortable having friends over since I can clean my couch super fast. I even clean my cat tower. The hair immediately leaves.
