Customers like the drain strainer's appearance, with one noting its champagne brass finish matches faucets well, and appreciate its perfect fit with Delta faucets and stainless steel sinks.

Never realized what a big difference there is between a crap strainer and a well made, well designed one. This one is heavy, durable, with little features that you'd never think of. Glad I didn't skimp and went with a quality unit. Read more
Works very well. You can set it down so that it still allows water to drain, and then gently push it for a tight seal. Read more
If you have Delta or Brizo fixtures, the coloring of this matches pretty much dead on with the champagne bronze color. While it isn't the cheapest one out there, it's worth the extra price to make sure you have an exact match. It's very easy to install and traps anything larger than the small channels in it from going down the drain. It contrasts great with my black farm sink and I couldn't be happier with how it looks. I am so disappointed in this product. I loved it when we got it. It was beautiful, and the color perfectly matched our faucet. It was even easy to install. It was a bit on the pricey side, but I thought it was worth it to have a beautiful, quality drain flange for our most commonly used sink. I was soooo wrong. It is NOT worth how much it cost, and especially not worth it to have to spend $70+ to replace regularly. When we first bought this, we installed it in our kitchen sink while we were building our house. Right before we moved in, we noticed it was broken. Since the sink was covered in painters plastic for so long, we suspected a contractor set some heavy tools on it or something, so we just bought and installed a new one. Not even two and a half years later, it is broken again, and in the same spot. This is clearly not a good quality product. A kitchen flange is NOT something you should have to replace regularly. As others have mentioned, the upper visible parts are coated brass and very good quality. Lower housing and nut under the sink are plastic but this is a durable grade and should hold up well. Unfortunately, the lower plastic nut holding the tailpiece (purchased separately) should be checked 6 to 8 months after installation. Plastic expands/contracts more than metal and this nut may work loose over time due to exposure to hot water. Check its tightness a few months after it's installed, tighten if necessary and you should be good. Update 12/9/18 As others have mentioned, there is a design/material flaw with the upper basket strainer. It involves the spring loaded ball bearing at the lower post that is supposed to either keep the basket up while allowing water to drain or allow you to push the basket down thus blocking the drain. The ball bearing will rust and dislodge, letting the basket stay in the closed position only. Each time this has happened, I called Delta and they sent a replacement unit. My unit was originally installed in 2016 and I am on my 5th or 6th replacement basket and I currently need a new one for the same reason. To correct this, all Delta has to do is use a nonferrous ball bearing and why this has not been done is a mystery because I wrote them about it almost 2 years ago. The cost a better ball bearing cannot be that economically significant. Update 12/31/18 I received a another warranty replacement of this basket about 3 weeks ago and it appears Delta has corrected the issue with the rusting ball bearing. With the prior units, signs of rust were visible within a week but the new one shows none. Perhaps Delta substituted a stainless steel bearing in place of the old one. Read more
