My little one has thicker thighs and smaller waist. I was excited to see this had the adjustable waist that I thought I'd lost when she moved beyond Toddler sizing. These shorts are impeccable quality, the color is beautiful, and the waist is nice and stretchy so much so it can be adjusted up to 7 sizes each way! They are somewhat rigid outside of the waist, so I went a size up and just adjust the waist down- you can barely tell it's cinched at all. It can be dressed up or down, depending on the shoe, and is a versatile part of her wardrobe. From playing outside to hanging watching a movie indoors, for the price she is ready to conquer the day! These are all different sizes. We got the "autumn wash". They have a paper bag style waist. VERY soft, not like normal stiff jeans material. I'd say they run slightly large. Skinny 11 y/o bought a size 10, fits - but definitely room to grow. Adjustable waist bands make it work! Read more
What’s up with children, specifically girls, fashion? I cannot buy a pair of girls shorts that aren’t hot pants, booty shorts, short shorts, whatever you wanna call them! Maybe I’m a product of my times, and I’m sorry for saying, but kids should not dress like they are in a rap video!! I got these because they are jean shorts and they are not too short, at least based on similar reviews. They seem to fit great and have a tab on the inside to adjust for waist. Read more
