These are more expensive than the ones you buy at Michaels, but they are worth it for a few reasons. 1) You have the use of the full container (the ones from Michaels are smaller than their advertised size due to the handles that cut into the space) 2) They are clear (the ones from Michaels are frosted), 3) The quality of the containers overall is so much better. The containers themselves are made of sturdy plastic and the clasps work well; I anticipate that they will continue to hold up as long as I don’t abuse them. I’m sure that most people buy these to hold paper, but I bought them to hold my resin molds from Molds and Shapes, which works perfectly. The molds fit in them perfectly and the containers help keep them dust free and keep them from drying out. I can see which mold is in each container, plus I put a label on the outside that tells me exactly how much resin and/or Aquacast mixture I need to fill the mold. Read more

These are great containers. I was looking for a 12x12 container that was thinner and would protect my craft project papers and embellishments when traveling on a plane. These worked perfectly. I've purchased several sets of these 12x12 paper storage boxes after trying & returning other brands. I love how these containers aren't super thick so I can sort my scrapbook & paper crafting paper by color or design. The closing clips are very sturdy & flush with the box edge so I can stand these boxes up or stack them. I have included a picture of how I am using them so you can see one idea for storage. I also have labeled them which is really easy to do with a common label maker. You could also write on them with permanent marker if you're looking for a more permanent labeling option. Absolutely love these boxes. I now have all my 12x12 papers for card making in them. They stand perfectly in my IKEA book cases and I label each on the side to easily identify what is in them.
