I really like the dispenser it's a very clever design. The pics themselves work fantastically. They're very rigid and don't flex too much. The extras come in a very nice, sturdy plastic box that just feels like a good product. I do wish the box for the spares was easier to open. The tab is hard to get my finger under to lift and open the box. And for only $15 you get enough to keep you stocked for a long time. Read more

I like that you press a button a pick comes out. This has been great for my kid's bathroom, I know that they are always getting a clean flosser. They are flavorless and they slide well between teeth to get out gunk. I think the initial cost is worth it because of the ease of refill and of use. Excellent idea for flossers. Read more

This is a set of 288 bamboo charcoal dental floss picks along with a handy refillable dispenser, from SelectShen. These are fairly standard floss pics, with a pointed end to use as a toothpick, and a bow on the other end with a piece of floss for flossing. They work well, and I have no issues getting the floss between my teeth even though my teeth are close together. The dispenser is clever, you push a button and it pushes out a flosser. It kind of reminds me of a drinking straw dispenser. It's pretty easy to refill the dispenser with the pre-stacked flossers in the refill container. To open up the dispenser to refill it, you push a tab then lift up to remove the whole bottom assembly. I use a paperclip to help me push the tab. The whole thing is quite nice except for one relatively minor thing and one pretty big thing. The minor thing is I wish the branding stickers all over the dispenser were made to be removable so the dispenser would look nicer sitting on the bathroom counter, my desk, or whatever. Under all the stickers is a nice looking transparent black case that could easily be left out without looking bad, if not for the stickers. The pretty big thing is that other than on this product listing for the whole kit, I can't find refills for the dispenser. It would be good if those were available for purchase so you don't have to throw away a perfectly good dispenser when you run out of these picks. Read more

These floss picks have a good body structure and are very easy to use. I have used picks that broke immediately when applied pressure and the back part of the physical body would snap in half. I was actually shocked at how some picks were so fragile but these held up perfectly fine. The string is dark due to the bamboo charcoal and although I am unfamiliar with its potential benefits, I use them primarily to remove any left over junk stuck between my teeth and they do the job perfectly. Pros: * dispenser has buttons that can dispense from either side, a nice thought of engineering. * dont see a lot of "charcoal" and bamboo as a combo, great for those looking for a natural product that is biodegradable Cons: * can't easily find more refills, it comes with one...but where do you get more? * prefer to have some sort of flavor, like mint, but that's more of a personal preference.
