It is exactly as described by manufacturer and the reviews are very accurate. If you don't know how to use an instrument of this type, DON'T buy one or you will cut up your gums. Go to the dentist. I'm fanatical about clean teeth. Brushing and flossing isn't enough for me. This scaler works great and I know how to use it safely. Read more
