For reference I am 5’7” 140-145lbs, 29” waist and I went with medium. This is a basic ruffled stitch maxi skirt and the first thing I noticed is that the color I got was a deeper olive sort of green than I was expected. Not a huge deal; color on screens varies and I imagine fabric dyes do too. This skirt has a straight lining on the inside, which I appreciate to keep it from being too thin and sheer. The outer material has these pin stripes that are kind of hard to see on the listing. They are a tad shinier, which I think makes this skirt stand out compared to other maxis I’ve had. The elastic on the top is a little tight and it’s almost veering into muffin top territory. There’s also a draw string in case the elastic wears out or it’s loose on you. I was hoping for pockets, but alas, there are none. Even without them, the skirt is fine. I’m not too fond of how it looks around my waist, but I pair it with tops that hide it. It washes up alright without wrinkles, and even if there were some, the ruffled stitches and lines are enough to hide them. Read more
