Well-constructed with quality fabric

These pants are well-constructed with quality fabric that holds its shape and offers a bit of stretch for comfort. The fit is flattering, giving a slim, elongated look. Details like the elegant buttons, true black color, and center back belt loop show thoughtful design. They don’t show panty lines. Read more

Little expensive but that are very nice it's up to you what matters most

These pants are well made and feel very sturdy. They gave my wife a slimmer, taller appearance—which she loved. For reference, she's 5'3" and weighs 130 pounds. The fit around the waist is a bit snug, and she mentioned she’d probably need to lose about 5 pounds to feel completely comfortable. She really likes the design, but felt the price was a little steep for what you get. Overall, we’d give it 4 out of 5 stars. Read more

Fit well, good material, looks good

I was torn between a 4 and 5 star rating, honestly. These trousers are really nice; they are form fitting so if you're on the upper end of your normal size, I'd recommend potentially going up a size. The waist fits true to size but the legs are a bit snug (IMO). For the price, I'd probably have taken a star off because, while they are great pants, I'm not sure they are $365 great. However, these are Derek Lams, they are a designer brand, and therefore, you do pay for the name a bit. Having said that, these ARE a good quality pair of trousers, and they will last a long time. The seams and stitching is solid, and the fabric is thick and soft. The buttons give these pants a flashy look without being over the top, and the length was perfect for me. I truly do like the quality of these pants, and because of the high-end materials used, I have no doubts these will be a staple of my wardrobe for a very, very long time. Read more

Okay pants, unreasonable price tag

These crop flare trousers are great for work and more casual evenings, however the fabric is fairly thin and sheer. They do not have pockets, so not very functional. The pants crop just above the ankles which makes pairing with shoes very easy! The waist fits comfortably and is flattering, however I don't see anything unique about this pants that makes it $365! Overall, they feel a bit overpriced for what you get. Read more

Flattering, if a bit transparent. If you get the white version, wear a white thong underneath

These are cute and flattering pants, although given my height they aren't as much of a crop style as I would wish. The 4% elastane really helps the fit, as it gives them the perfect amount of stretch. Now, I don't have lumps and bumps, and my body shape is of a type that works well with pants--no big stomach, nor big hips. I do wish, however, that the fabric were either a bit thicker or lined the whole length, as in certain light these do have a bit of transparency. You have to be careful what underwear you wear with them. A white thong is best. They do recommend dry-cleaning these, which is a bummer. I'm tempted to put them in a fabric bag designed for delicates and wash them in cool water, but I'm afraid to. Read more

A step up from regular trousers

I usually don't get crop pants because I feel like it doesn't give me a cropped look, but more of a too short look. However, I liked the design of these and wanted to give them a try. I got a size 12 since my bottom measurements are 32-42. It does fit snug, but that's taking into account my tummy. Besides that, I like the way they fit. I am 5'7" and the pants ended slightly above my ankles. These came in a plastic garment bag and a pants hanger. That was a first for me. The buttons are gorgeous with intricate detailing. Even with my tummy, the buttons laid flat against the pants. It fit nicely around my waist. The pants does have elastane in them which helps the fabric retain its shape since it adds some stretch. Without it, the fabric can start to get deformed, especially in the knee area. I got these in the color black and its a true black. Doesn't look faded or washed out. It doesn't show any panty lines, which is always a concern for me. I love wearing belts with my outfits and one good thing is that there is a belt loop in the center of the back. Most pants would have 4 loops, two close to the front and two on the sides. Having another in the back center is great because it helps keep the pants up. Without it, the belt has a tendency to ride up and will end up above the pants. The fifth loop eliminates any adjustments you'd make throughout the day. Read more

True to Size

I am not a designer brand type person and I've never heard of this particular brand. So when I see $365 pants, I assume they are good quality. These are see-through. They show the stitching, panty line, and any flaw you have on your body. The fabric does not appear to be great quality; they kind of have a soft tweed look. The white is not white, but cream / beige. The cut is boxy and not really fitted right. It definitely does not flatter. However, if you are the type that enjoys designer pants even though they look like $20 pants, I am 5'1," with a 33-inch hip and a 38-inch waist. I normally wear size 10, I got size 10, and they fit comfortably. At my height, they were about 1-2 inches too long. Read more
