There are two white and two black wires that are not pre-combined, you just put coordinating wires together, and then wire to the correct connecting wires. The glass was in perfect condition, and isn't cheap or thin. The fixture is 60 watt Max for the bulbs I put 2- 60 watt bulbs in and it's bright.
