Currently in the middle of working on my 2005 avalanche 1500 5.3 front end. Ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, sway bar links, upper control arm, pitman arm, idler arm bracket pivot and the idler arm. When the parts arrived, nothing was missing. Everything was there. Got everything on except the pitman arm. The pitman is the only thing left. The picture shows the ball joints, upper control arm, sway bar links, and inner and outer tie rods. The parts seem really nice and sturdy. A buddy of mine has recommended Detroit Axle because they are the lower budget friendly option of a kit. Was originally going to buy each part individually, but then he showed me this. The ball joints is what needed replaced and the idler and pitman arm, but I decided to buy this kit and do the others. Now installing can be easy or difficult depending on the old parts that have rust on them. My truck is 21 years old and every bolt and part was rusted and all all parts had to be beaten with hammers or cut with a grinder or sawzaw. But after that, getting the new parts on is very easy. As far as actually seeing how the new hold up, i won't know til the truck is completed and gets and alignment very soon. Will do an update later on maybe in a couple of weeks or a month or so. But if you are on a budget as far as price, I'm sure there wouldn't be any problems. Read more

Everything come packaged in one box. Apply an extra coat of paint to prevent rust and corrosion. Ball joints fit well. Tie rods and sway bar links line up great. Control arms fit great. All ball joints and sway bar links have grease fittings. Pretty good deal for the price. Read more

Edit 2020-09-25: Well quality is somewhat questionable. One of the rubber covers on sway bar links cracked. There is a occasional weird noise come when turning the steering wheel. So may have to check/replace some of these parts this year or next year. 2010 Mazda 5. Replaced Lower Control arms and Sway bar links using this kit. Was going to change wheel bearing and since I took everything out thought to replace the warn ball joints. But after seeing the price of the whole kit, thought to replace the whole arms along with ball joints and bushings etc. Now the car drives really well. Had to get an alignment done after. No complaints, this was the first time I replaced these parts. You definitely need to rent Ball Joint Separator, Tie rod Arm Puller/Pitman Arm Puller from Auto Parts retailer. I used 1. Powerbuilt Tools Kit 43, Reversible Gear Jaw Puller Kit (Part # 648613): used the largest one to push the front axel away from the hub assembly. Grab the rotor with 3 arms and push the axel with the screw/center rod of the puller. 2. Powerbuilt Tools Kit 3, Front End Service Kit (Part # 648626): to separate the ball joints from the arms. Don't use hammer or any other tool to bang/strike or split as shown in many Utube videos. That will damage parts, I learned it hard way. With above tools you can get the job done quicker & easily. Plus they are free (once you return the tool back to the store) Read more

Purchased May 20, 2022. Received May 22, 2022. Installed July 15, 2022. Went to have front end alignment July 16 2022 and was advised one of the driver upper control ball joint was defective, Control Arm was defective and idler arm and idler holder was defective!!! Notified seller/manufacturer and waiting to hear back. Items have a 30 day refund exchange from date of purchase. So we'll see if they stand behind their products. Absolutely ridiculous to have those issues from new parts, especially from Detroit Axle. They used to have higher standards. But like I said, we'll see and I'll update. But beware before you purchase from them. Now it's all up to Detroit Axle if they're still a reputable company that still has standards for the American people. Update as of July 21,2022. Had to send a certified shop letter stating which parts are defective. Did that and didn't here anything from them for 4 days so got in touch with them and was hold for a total of 27minutes. And I have to pay shipping of $24 and change but they are having issues with the billing address ( never ever had an issue before, anywhere!!!) So it's their sorry parts that cost over $800 to have installed and a whole day wasted at a alignment shop and now THEY'RE have an issue over $24, which the entire problem is them and their lack of quality products, which by the way is extremely dangerous. So now can't drive my truck til they get their act together. Don't buy from them. Just a fair and honest review. Product is dangerously bad and getting replacement is even more ridiculous. I'd been better off going to a junk yard, at least the parts would be better. Read more

The pitman arm was missing from my order. The mechanic had the box and and didn't discover it missing until it was too late for a return. Update: The pitman arm was missing and I didn't know it until the return date was over because it was over a month before the shop could get my truck in. The shop sold me a new one. Detroit Axle just offered to send me one and apologized for it missing, but I already have a new one. I appreciate that they were willing to bend the rules to make it right. Read more
