This had obviously been on the shelf for a very long time and the "almond" color was hard as a rock, and the white had little round white spots in it, that turned out to be stuff that was obviously curred in the pakcet. What I ended up using, never cured and now will be forever sticky. So disappointed. Read more

I’ve used Devcon Fiberglass Repair Kits for years, usually picking them up from my local hardware store, and they’ve always performed exactly as expected — reliable bonding, easy mixing, and durable results. It’s a great product when it’s fresh. Unfortunately, the kit I received from Amazon this time was completely dried out. The resin had hardened in the container, making it impossible to mix or apply. It was disappointing since I’ve had nothing but good experiences with this brand in the past. It’s worth noting that when these kits are fresh, they work beautifully — excellent adhesion and a smooth finish on everything from small fiberglass patches to larger surface repairs. But shelf life clearly matters, and this one must have sat too long before shipping. I still recommend the Devcon brand overall, but if you order online, check your kit as soon as it arrives to make sure the resin is still usable. A great product — just not this particular batch. This product is terrible for repairing porcelain tubs and showers. RUN away. It is applied as a sucky mess and impossible to sand and match to existing. Ended up sanding all of this horrible product off and applying Keneey Bathtub and Shower Repair kit. Read more
