I found this tool bag while shopping online and just had to purchase it. The design and style met my needs and has allowed me to carry my work tools with ease. The shoulder strap, as well as the hand straps, allow for excellent carrying. The tool bag itself has many pockets and is deep enough to provide adequate storage for my tools. The zipper is great, especially when you're trying to fit an extra tool in the tool bag. The sturdy construction of this tool bag will keep me coming back, time and time again. The only thing lacking on this tool bag, however, is that there is no availability to lock it up. Otherwise it meets my needs for now. Read more

Lots to like about this tool bag. Seems well constructed. I am comfortable filling it up without exceeding its limits. Like many tool bags on the market these days the pockets are just a little too shallow to keep a tool standing up properly. For example, a wrench in the pocket is going to lean out — and possibly fall out. That said, the pockets on this bag are no worse than others. Oddly, some of the pockets in the interior are so narrow that about all you are going to get in them is a pencil, but that’s useful too. I like the closed pouch on the front for a tape measure and the zippered pocket on the inside for paperwork or something similarly flat. I looked at lots of bags including those locally at HF and HD and this one won out. Read more

This 16 Tradesman's Tool Bag is top notch. It is constructed of heavy duty nylon cloth material. The material is much heavier than the fabric used on the smaller Dewalt bags. Nice padding on the grip handles. Zipper is robust and heavy duty. Four rubber feet on each outside bottom corner is a nice touch, too. It has one Velcro covered pouch on the outside with the Dewalt logo. It is heavy duty as well. It has 12 interior pockets of various sizes and one long shallow zippered interior pouch. One reviewer stated his bag had all the same size interior pockets, not the one I have. The bag is much taller than I expected. The mouth is reinforced with two small, sewn in, metal rods that run along the length of the bag -- great feature. This bag has a shoulder strap which I immediately took off. A manly man shouldn't carry a tool bag with a shoulder strap. I'm thinking about making a dog collar out of it. The reason I bought this bag is I was wanting a bag for my Dewalt 7 1/4" 20 volt circular saw. The saw I purchased came with no bag nor a case. I believe in taking care of my tools and I do not like to lay my tools loose in storage. This bag fits the 7 1/4" saw perfectly even with a 6.0 amp battery attached. And there is still room for an extra battery and a charger. I highly recommend this bag. It is a great value and well made. Read more

A while ago I got an awesome tool bag made by CLC Custom LeatherCraft 1539 18 Multi-Compartment Tool Carrier and I love it. I found out quickly though since it holds everything, that it is way too heavy to lug around on a regular basis. I am working on a house on the weekends so I am taking tools in and out of my van all the time and needed something a little more portable. The 16 inch Tradesman's Tool Bag is the perfect size for this. I can put in a large hammer, circular saw, impact driver, batteries and bit kits in the main compartment and have the outside for the wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. It is big enough to hold all of the basics I need but small enough to be more portable and easier on the back! The quality is as good as the other CLC bag I have (my understanding is that this is a branded CLC bag).
