I’ve been using the DEWALT Tool Organizer, Tough System, and it’s been a game-changer for keeping my tools and small parts organized. The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from DEWALT—rugged, durable, and designed to withstand job site conditions. Pros: ✔️ Tough Build: The outer shell is strong and impact-resistant, perfect for job sites or truck storage. ✔️ Customizable Storage: The removable compartments let you arrange it to fit your needs, whether it’s screws, nails, or small hand tools. ✔️ Secure Latch System: The lid locks down tightly, preventing parts from mixing during transport. ✔️ Stackable with ToughSystem Boxes: If you already use DEWALT’s ToughSystem, this organizer integrates seamlessly. ✔️ Great Value: For $29.99, this tote is a steal—you’re getting premium durability at an affordable price. Cons: ⚠️ Slightly Bulky: If you're looking for a compact organizer, this might be a bit large, but the durability makes up for it. Overall, this is a must-have if you want a reliable, well-built storage solution for your tools and small parts. Highly recommended! Read more

When I chose a cordless system to invest it I started with Dewalt 20v. This expanded into the whole Flexvolt system and beyond. The Dewalt Tough System is great. It has some disadvantages to some of the competitors out there but overall I cannot complain and its all about pros and cons and what works for you. There is no perfect system. As far as the Tool Organizers - The DWST08205. I love them. They are the cornerstone of my whole organizer system. Along with the DEWALT Garage Storage Rack, Tough System, 440 lb Capacity, Tool Storage (DWST08260) These bins are sturdy. Store well. Stack Well. And as you can see, I use them to their fullest capacity! When it comes to home storage, I use bins with lids. When it comes to tools and supplies storage, I like things to be readily accessible. So I like the way these are designed. I like to stay mobile, so when it comes time to go, these stack very nicely and travel well. Zero complaints. I have a few friends I have talked into using them as well. We all agree. Its also nice when working together and we understand how each of our systems work for functionality and organization! Best box your gonna find for 30 bucks. 4 of these and a cheap dolly beats buying the tough stack. Read more

I stick this in my trunk and it usually stays there. I get my belt out at the start of the day. If I have anyone working for me I may bring the whole thing for the extra tools. It snaps right on top of my Toughcase 2 stuff, and it has the sturdiness and durability you've come to expect. I do like the versatility of this box. I'll definitely buy another because there are just some things it can do that the ones that close can't. Or I'd need a extra large case for over 100, I've probably spent over 2k just on dewalt cases (both lines, the smaller boxes are awesome for kits and for tools with accessories. I love how those snap together and both lines have a duffle bag I have that can top off your stack. For my other I bought the 4 wheel base rather than the wheel and handle box. Not quite as nice as the Milwaukee line, but cheaper and I put foam in every one cut to all the tools. You open one of my boxes it looks like a Festool sustainer. Read more

Yes! while I am using packout, I have no intention of getting rid of my systainers, so why should I get rid rid of my tough system? I like the form factor of the tough system totes at nearly 22” wide inside better than the 13x16 packout crate. Also the tough system rack allows the bottom crate to be pulled out as easily as the top…with packout, unless you go drawers only there is no such convenience. in my shop I have totes dedicated to task - joinery - pocket hole, joinery - biscuits, joinery - dowels, finishing, etc. I also have a crate for tile setting and sheet rock which given their messy insides will likely not be changing. The tote is the milk crate of the 80’s. it has revolutionized my life. When my wife wants to hang pictures, I have a tote with all the nails, brackets, coated wire, level, tack hammer, pencil, and tape measure, as well as an old laser that may never die. It is perfect. I have a crate for vacuum attachments. Most of my electrical supplies have moved to packout - but I still use two totes for larger items. At about 50% the cost of the packout crate and to me what is a far better form factor for a crate…this is a deal for any upstart organizer! I strongly recommend giving them a try. Read more

I picked up this DEWALT ToughSystem organizer to keep my tools more accessible, and it’s been a great addition to my setup. The open design makes it easy to grab tools quickly without digging through compartments, and it has plenty of space for larger items like drills, circ saws, batteries, and hand tools. The build quality is pretty good—it feels durable and holds up well to regular use. I also like that it connects with other ToughSystem components, which makes it easy to expand and stay organized over time. Overall, this is a tough, reliable organizer that’s perfect for keeping your most-used tools within reach. I believe it comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Read more

This has all but replaced my 5 gallon bucket of power tools, I've got to sit on something! Nothing can replace the bucket boss full of hand tools 💕 It's a about as heavy as I'd like to carry if it's all loaded down as pictured. The tote is an awesome catch all during the day and holds quite a bit if it's packed up right. My only real gripe is with the inter-case locks, super difficult to get the cases apart but I have a lil pry bar that pops them open before I rip my bones through my flesh. Hopefully they hold up or break in. Note this is actually a backwards connection between tough system, and system 2.0, they fit but I wonder if maybe it's not 100% perfect. I have more tough system 2.0 on the way so maybe I can update that later. Read more
