What I like about these free weights the most is the storage area (amount of space that it takes up) when everything is on the rack, it’s super compact and takes up very little space; about 2 feet in height, and 10” in width, so it really fits perfect in any smaller space. I like how modern they look, and how they don’t even look like weights really, they look like a piece of art or furniture when they are all racked up. So they look great beside a shelf in my living room, where I’m doing my workouts in the morning now. I really like how easy it was to get these set up or put together, everything is literally assembled and put together right out of the box, so the only thing you have to do is take out the rack, and then just hang the free weights accordingly to the rack, and you attach the number free weights you want on the 2 bar bells that will sit on the lower racks. I like that the mechanism to attach or takeoff a free weight is super simple, that you just push a button on the ends of the bar, which will allow you to pull out part of the bar and attach the weights that you want added on, and then just slide the bar back inside till you hear a click from the button pushing back up. Very little low maintenance and it’s just gonna make work out so much easier which I really like a lot! There’s nothing that I don’t like about these free weights at all! They are super aesthetically appealing, really look great overall, as well as very easy to store, and have a great amount of weight that you could attach on to each barbell included with this set. Overall, I am so happy that I finally found a free weight set that has everything I’m looking for and is going to take a little to no space at all, and still provide me with a full set of our bills that I can customize to whatever weight I want. I definitely will recommend these free weights to all my family and friends, and to anyone looking for a customizable weights as a barbell set for free weights, that you’re able to add or take away weight to without having multiple bars hanging around and taking up additional space, then I would also recommend this set to you too. The square plates are aesthetically pleasing and look great on the included stand, which is also a fantastic space saver. However, I’ve noticed a safety concern: the release button is quite sensitive, and I’ve accidentally pressed it a few times during use, almost causing the plates to come loose. As for the price, I’m a bit on the fence about its value. While the set is undoubtedly convenient and visually appealing, it might not be the most cost-effective option compared to other adjustable weight sets. Read more
DHT Adjustable Dumbbells arrived packaged nicely in a solid heavy box. The weights are well made with quality materials. The rack is easy to put together and is also very well made and sturdy. The weights fit nicely on the rack and both of the hand bars. The set is unique and I really like how compact everything is compared with traditional weights. The squared shape keeps the dumbbells from rolling around and makes working out fun. The bars are comfortable in your hands and easy to work out with. all workout equipment that comes out in today's day and age is all about maximizing space while still retaining all the same functionality....for some reason this set is just not very well thought out if you ask me....it just takes up unnecessary space to store a very small amount of weight overall....the system they created to add or remove weight from each dumbbell is terrible in my eyes...the way you need to remove both ends of the dumbbell to be able to add or remove weight is not thought out very well it makes it extremely awkward to say the least. i just don't think the entire idea of this set it thought out at all and honestly do even really know how to describe how bad of a design this is....it got to the point that the person who uses this just added all the weight and leaves them on the dumbbell maxed out as its so annoying to have to take both sides off then remove the weight then put the sides back on...believe me do not waste your time or money on this set as it will drive you nuts.....save up and buy 1 of the knock off bow-flex dumbbells that they sell on amazon...trust me lol. only reason i didn't give it 1 star is because though the design is terrible and im not a fan of this system at al the design does work as it claims and doesn't jam up or anything....but that's not saying much believe me Read more
I really like the DHT Dumbbell and Rack Set. The rack comes preassembled and ready to use right out of the box. All of the weights store neatly and compactly on the rack. You get 2 bars that are 1.1 lbs each, 4 small plates that are 1.1 lbs each and 16 colorful plates that are 2.1 lbs each. You can fit a maximum of 5 plates on each side of the bar for a maximum weight of 22 lbs and a minimum weight of 8 lbs. The plates are square, so they won't roll around or move on the floor. It is very easy to add and remove plates from the bars. I ordered the pastel color weights and I love the way they look. They brighten up my workout room and look sleek and neat when stored on the rack. This is a well made and very attractive set of weights that anyone can use. Read more
This is a great set of light dumbells - perfect for me. I ordered the black, though deep down I did want the pastel colored ones, but I figured these were more "versatile." It took me a few minutes to unpack the box, which weighed about 60 lbs. Set up was beyond simple, with no assembly at all. The rack is very compact; my husband said it looks like a speaker box. The empty bars weigh only 1.1 lbs, but you can add weight to make them significantly heavier. This is perfect for me, as I have a bad shoulder and shouldn't be lifting more than 6-7 lbs on one side. However, I can use heavier weights for other moves. Changing the load is super quick and efficient as well. The pricere on this is what you get for convenience. To use anything from 1 - 20 lbs so easily is a great option. Read more
