Dickies Mens 873 Slim Fit Work Pants

At first I hemmed and hawed about purchasing these pants because of the poor reviews on both Amazon and on the Dickies home page. I tested with one pair from Amazon because of their easy return policy. After wearing them for a couple days, I bought another pair. They were consistent in size and cut. These pants are very narrow, fit me like a sleeve, and feel like they were custom made. Whether you're a mature, thin man (like me) or a skinny teenager, you'll find these to be preferable to the wider cut of regular Dickies. In short, they fit, while still allowing freedom of movement. While the rise of the zipper is short, it's more attractive to the neat fit of the pants. These are NOT 'skinny jeans' style, just work pants sewn for a more narrow frame. Read more

These pants are real good they are very comfortable. They are stain resistant for the most part and they are not too baggy I like how they fit. I don’t like pants that are wide and baggy and make me feel that I am wearing a jump suit these are comfortable and fit well. I have got 2 more pairs. The 44 inch waist are more baggy then the 42 inch for some reason. I order 42 inch and they fit good not baggy at all. It’s good material, but it’s a tight fight. Great for heavy duty work. Isn’t really stretchy. But it looks good. The inseam is long. I’m a size 34w on all my pants but needed a 36w, Suggestions said to go up to 38w but that was too large and need to return it. Go up one size. Read more

First off, I'll say these are good pants. The typical, durable, stiff Dickies pants you're used to. I bought 32" waist even though I'm a 30", because the reviews say they run small. That is NOT true. The 32" waist is exactly accurate, and so are a little big and will have to be worn with a belt. Also, calling these "slim" is a stretch. They are not slim, they are a normal straight leg pant with plenty of room throughout. All the pants I own are slim, and these are roomier than any other by far.
