Dickies Mens Slim Fit Cargo Pants

Dickies makes cargo pants in loose fit and regular fit. None of those models come in size 29 waist which is what I wear. These slim cargo pants in size 30 waist fit me perfectly. So just remember, go one size larger as these slims are very slim. I've been enjoying wearing these pants for a week now and they have delighted me to no end. I use these pants at work which requires me to constantly move, bend, lift, etc all day long. POCKETS: I store 2 gloves in one cargo pocket, protective sleeves in the other pocket, and a box cutter in the cell phone pocket. My cell phone goes into my rear pocket on the right. Nothing falls out of my pockets no matter if I sit, squat, bend over, or stand. One additional pocket feature I didn't count on is a slot for a pen located on the flap of the right cargo pocket. I can slide a pen in and out of the slot. The pen stays put for easy access. The regular pants pockets are deep, roomy, and sturdy. ZIPPER: For convenience sake I usually like to avoid undoing my belt and unfastening my pants just to use the urinal. I therefore just unzip, reach in and pull out through the zipper opening to do my business. However, with these pants that is proving to be a little difficult. The zipper opening is very small compared to most pants. I think this is a thing with Dickies pants. I just wanted to give you a heads-up if this is how you do your business. It's doable if you have long agile fingers or a very small hand. COMFORT: The pants have a higher polyester amount vs cotton. This makes for a sturdier fabric overall but makes for a warmer feeling pair of pants. After about 4 hours I can tell my legs are starting to sweat. Overall though the pants are still comfortable to wear. APPEARANCE: These pants look very professional and could be worn in the warehouse and the office and still fit in. They provide a clean and crisp look but still offer storage utility and strength. I wanted something with reinforced knees but I don't miss that as the material is still strong and protective. OVERALL CONCLUSION: You can not go wrong with these pants. They look great and perform just as well. True fit to sizing measurements. My go to for everyday from wearing with a Polo, casual dress button or T shirt. Going out errands, lunch, dinners meetings and then after buying more I use the older ones for at home work outside around yardwork& I like that flex movement stretch. Even in the garage working on the vehicles. Comfortable wear well. Not heavy pulling weight on your waist. Pockets great plenty of room, nice classic fit can dress up a bit with a nice dress sport shoe or casual style low boot. These pants have clean lines fit casual look and also good outside not overly hot while outside mowing , setting fence posts & everyday casual rural stuff. This line style in not commercial construction. Lee pants wash well dry quickly very low wrinkle. These are great spring through fall in NW PA. I tried a 34/30 and a 36/30. 34 was tight with no extra room in the waist, otherwise fit was good. 36 fit my waist like a 38, had a ton of extra room. Color and material were good and the pockets had lots of storage space. Read more
