Overall - I love these pants! I've tried a few different style of Carhartt pants, but the sizes and styles just don't fit my petite body. These Dickies are actually flattering and show your body/curves. It's nice to feel a little feminine on job sites! I'm definitely ordering another pair. I've washed (in cold water) and dried (tumble dry low) once so far and they did not shrink with wash. They are a good weight - not too thin, but not super thick like Carhartts. I like the pockets - deep front pockets and a deep pocket on the thigh, which is perfect for a chisel, screwdriver, or even a cell phone. I'm able to bend and kneel for work without any issues. Perfect rise for me - hits about an inch below my belly button. As for the sizing: For reference, I am 5'4", 125 lb. I normally wear a size 4 in jeans. The size 4 in these Dickies fits almost perfectly. I have the perfect amount of room in the thighs (not skin tight) and I think I'll have enough room to layer a thin pair of long johns underneath during the winter. These are now my absolute favourite pants! I don't do any physical/outdoor work in them but I know they'd hold up just fine. My Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fits perfectly in the side pocket, and the front pockets are deep enough for both my hands to fit in them. For reference, I'm 5'7", 125lbs, with wide hips. I am a size 8 in literally every brand of pants I own. I originally got a black pair at a size 8 which were far too large. After two rounds in the dryer they are still very loose (less so) and tend to start sliding down throughout the day. Still very comfortable. I wanted another pair so I ordered the brown in a size 6 and after a round in the dryer it's still the PERFECT fit. I plan on ordering more in this size, these pants are just too awesome. My only con is that they pick up any and all fuzz/lint clumps...I can't really describe it, it's not just pet fur and stuff. Also, they do stain easily and it's pretty much impossible to get them out without chunking them in the washer. These were both super minor cons for me, so don't let them deter you. Read more
Dickies has durable, strong stitched work pants that have lasted me close to a decade in the past which is why I bought these. That durability seems to still be true. Nice fabric that loosens and becomes comfortable relatively fast. I work in landscaping and I've worn them for a day so far and the flex is just fine. However, the sizing is not quite accurate for me. Size 6 should be just right other than being long legged, but the waist sits low and measures 35". It feels oddly loose around the hips and tends to expose your upper butt when squatting or kneeling over. I tried to show this is a pic. I was also disappointed in the size of the pockets. They can fit phone or wallet technically, but dig in if you bend over or sit down. The inseam is 31" which is long for me being only 5'2" but I usually have to fold up my pant legs. Read more
Overall, I really love the fit! I have no butt or hips and these are by far the best fitting pants I have had on. They feel great, but I wouldn’t call them stretchy. They are VERY long!! I wanted to love these pants, but they are horrible. The texture and feel of the fabric is unlike any other Dickies pants I've purchased and that is saying a LOT. The fabric is actually stiff, doesn't move with you and dust, cat hair, EVERYTHING sticks to the pants. I have resorted to wearing the Men's Flex fit pants that my guys wear because this Women's version is just unacceptable and should be scrapped to the factory floor as rags. Read more
Really like these pants. They are somewhat stretchy, and quite comfortable to move around in. Personally I use them for upland hunting/yard chores. Perfect length, just at the ankle on myself. Good quality and they dont seem to wrinkle much. Would purchase again! Read more
