Why is it so damned impossible to find a pair of women’s work pants that have 1. the thickness and durability + carpenter pockets , and 2. some spandex for stretch and mobility? This pair has both! I tried Carhartt’s first because I liked the quality of their men’s work pants. Unfortunately, once you put the word “woman“ in there, they only offered work pants without any durable material or double knees, etc. Honestly they’re more” fashion cargos” than true work pants. 🤬 I tried wearing men’s, but they’re not cut for women’s hips and rise. Dickies got it right. These are my go-to for everything from home renovation to brush cutting. I work in the woods manufacturing field and finding pants that are presentable for meeting clients AND durable AND keep the weather out AND very comfortable AND affordable is like finding a with granting technicolored unicorn. They fit true to size, plenty length in the legs and all the storage pockets like a wardrobe to Narnia. The color holds great after booku washes too. Only down side if I went with the listed size chart the first time I ordered thinking they ran small. Nope! Order your standard size. I'm mixed on this. The product seems to be made well. Heavy material. However, the sizing is way off! Amazon recommended a 6, I ordered a 4, and I need a 2. They swallowed me! I'm going to see if I can order a smaller size because I really like them. Read more
These fit perfectly and feel absolutely amazing! I'm just under 5' 3"/weight 110 and the size 4 was perfect. I can wear them with my boots, Romeos or Danner shoes and they don't touch the ground. I tried size 2 originally, but I new once they shrunk, they'd be a tad too small. I've been looking for a great pair of pants for at deer/elk camp and these are it. I was setting up camp, gathering and splitting wood all weekend and they felt great. I really like that they aren't too high waisted, as I personally don't like pants sitting at or above my belly button (but I also want to be decent when I bend over). They aren't stretchy, but they aren't stiff like other canvas work pants and don't bunch up when working. They aren't baggy or skinny like skinny jeans, they're right in the middle and also have lots of practical pockets. Finding quality, well fitting womens work pants hasn't been easy. honestly awful. Sizing is bad. These aren’t really durable enough for the work I do there is no movement in these pant either. I do a lot of bending and crouching moving artifacts throughout an old collections storage facility. I have a 25in waist at its smallest (so near my belly button) and 39in hips and amazon recommended a size two. I know to always size up because there are no standard sizes in women’s clothes. Got a size 4, equivalent to a 27in waist. These were low rise and fit below my belly button. They did fit my lower waist however thighs and butt were unbelievably tight, like I could barely bend down. Flattened my butt like a pancake because they’re really sturdy and stiff, not breathable really. Not even standing pants. If you have any level of curve, these just aren’t it. Read more
