It does state, more than once, that it is for the digital version of the console, but I still missed it. Regardless, I was still able to use it on one side of the disc version, which still made it look cool, and the cooling vent still works. Using it on my disc version of the console did not interfere with anything, and I like that. I like everything about this faceplate. I didn’t realize that you have to remove the panels and place these on instead, dummy me thought they just went over like an actual cover! The instructions would be CRUCIAL for someone like me. They are poorly imaged black and white cartoon like pictures with very vague wording. Google and YouTube later, I have installed the panels and they work fantastically.
