As a middle aged woman with dry skin, I'm always on the lookout for products to help with my skin's hydration, so was eager to give the Snow Lotus Moisturizer from the Dinsee skin care line a try. The moisturizer is a lightweight consistency gel that I would consider more of a serum than a moisturizing cream. It initially has a light, pleasant scent that really isn't noticeable once it's on your skin. When I put it on, it absorbed quickly, and immediately made my skin feel more hydrated. It right away gave my skin a slight glow, and with repeated use, my skin looks noticeably more hydrated, and feels smoother as well. I appreciate the quality of this product, as it is vegan, and contains 10 different types of hyaluronic acid. While the gel is hydrating, due to my skin's extreme winter dryness, I do find it to be a bit on the light side for me, and in order to more deeply moisturize my parched skin, I do need to apply a thicker cream on top of the gel. For summer, this will likely provide enough moisture, but during our dry and cold winter, I need a bit more than this can provide. I also find the product to leave a slight stickiness to the touch on the skin. Overall, I find this to work well as a lightweight hydrator and skin softener. I think it would be perfect for someone with oily skin as it's so lightweight; for those with dry skin you may need to add a thicker moisturizer over the gel cream.
