These is a really nice tulle layered midi skirt. I am 5 ft and it fit me length wise perfectly. I was looking for a skirt that would not be too long which is a problem sometimes. It has a soft elastic waist band for comfort and the patten was perfect for the Christmas party i was attending. It paired nicely with a decorative black cardigan sweater and black heeled boots. This is a beautiful skirt. Can be very dressy or casual it down depending on the look you are going for. I bought both the black and beige tops made by "Johnny" of California and also sold on Amazon. The black dresses it up; the beige tones it down. The tops have a shorter dolman sleeve, a bit of spandex and scrunch at the hip line so the blousing overhangs from the torso, if you can picture this? Its a perfect look to compliment this skirt. Please note, this review is specifically for the style option "TUTU B" in red. SHORT REVIEW: Cute & fun! This skirt is lined & has an elastic waistband. It is not itchy. Taking off one star because the sizing is one-size. LONG REVIEW: This skirt is very beautiful in-person! The tulle is soft & not scratchy. The skirt is lined & provides decent coverage & comfort. (Remeber, if you're worried about clothing being sheer/see-through: always opt for skin colored undergarments!) I'm giving this skirt 4 out of 5 because it is a "one size" style. My waist is 36 inches & my hips are about 47 inches. Depending on the brand: my numeric size is 14 or 16 (for bottoms/pants) or an XL for alpha sizing. Personally, I would not recommend this skirt if your waist or hips are any bigger. The lining has a small amount of stretch, but not a lot. The elastic waistband has a decent amount of stretch & recovery (it doesn't get loose & stay loose). However, I would not make this part of a buffet outfit cause it will eventually dig into your skin. This skirt is about 33 inches long (including the elastic waistband). Keep in mind, depending on your height, this will hit a different part of your body. (I am 4'10" for reference & the shoes I'm wearing in my picture are 5 inches tall.) This is a great skirt & I recommend it to anyone looking to add something fun to their wardrobe! I think this product could be improved if it came in split sizes (for example: XS/SM, M/L, XL/XXL, etc.) TIP: I realize not everyone own a flexible/tailor's measuring tape. If you don't have one, take a string that's non-stretchy (ribbon, shoelace, etc.), note the length of your waist, hip, etc. Compare the length on a ruler or carpenter's measuring tape. This skirt is extremely small; the waist and hips would fit a size 0 or up to a 2, the length would only look correct if you were 5’2”. Was extremely disappointed; the seams are extremely visible and not in a good way. I want to love this so so much!! It's beautiful and flows nicely. Very light weight but pretty for the holidays. The problem? Too small. I'm an XL and usually fit into all "one size fits all". While this goes up, it's really tight and is just uncomfortable. I wish they had size options. If you're a S or M I'd say get this...if not, try another option. Read more
