This costume is hilarious. Well built. Wore it all day without incurring any damage. My wife wore the Mrs. Incredible version as well. For a 40 dollar costume, this is excellent. Nothing is perfect so here is my critique. Mr. Incredible has 8 Velcro patches on the back to close the costume. If it fits you snugly, there is some pulling apart for peekaboo in the back. Mrs. version has a zipper - much nicer. My guess is that they spent so much on the muscles, that they skimped on the closure. Not a show stopper. The Velcro held all day and after wearing it that long, the material stretched enough that the pulling stopped. Sizing: I am a fairly large person wearing XL and many times XXL shirts. I bought the Men's XL. I recommend that if you ever buy XXL shirts, you may want to get the XXL version of this costume. However, a superhero costume should not be baggy. From my experience, you can get away with the XL if you are up to 6' 1" tall and 260 lbs. Any more than that and you may want the XXL for the height if nothing else. Just be honest about how large you are. Note: We wore these to a church event and that explains the skirt on my wife's Mrs. Incredible costume. Some 80 year olds viewed it as risque. This fit my husband perfectly! For reference he is 6’1” and weighs 275. There was a little bit of room in the legs but nothing crazy, he only wore boxers underneath and it still fit okay. There were no rips in it luckily! And the Velcro meant down his whole back but there were no gaps that showed skin. The muscles were a little compressed but nothing terrible, we were able to fluff it out a bit. He got so many compliments on it !! Read more

So I thought to myself, maybe if I dress up like mr. Incredible, then my wife would be attracted to me. Well, let me put it this way. If you're tall, it's a little short through the body. Remember those things in high school called Wedgies? If so, welcome to a long arduous walk down memory lane my friend. As you may have already surmised, when the profundity of the valley of death in the back is penetrated, this has the effect of augmenting reality in the front. Not the prettiest picture, especially if you're heading to a party for all the neighborhood wives to appreciate the nuances of your "couples costumes" . Long story short, if you're tall, you're gonna need to wear something on the inside, that's tight, strong and won't earn you a nickname that resembles anything having to do with your momma. So straight- 6' and shorter, you should be good to go for the XL costume. But if you're closer to 6'6", just cut to the chase and wear the magic mike costume instead. It'll be more modest. Read more
