Small disposable bowls like these are good for microwaving water and oatmeal from the boxed packets. These Dixie bowls seem stiffer, more well-made, higher quality, and better at holding up with use than the Great Value ones I've usually used. The fact that they're thicker causes them to hold their round shape better and be less susceptible to collapsing, all of which contributes to their being easy to use with fewer spills. I really like these paper bowls. Easy use and clean up when on a hurry. They hold liquids (soups etc...) very well with no leakage and the nice small size is great for snacks. I like that they are coated with wax (safe), and not with dangerous chemicals like others. It's also nice, that since they are paper, that they will decompose. Read more
