Ordered this dress for my wife, who is 5'7". It fits her really well and true to size - it's a very comfortable dress, and it's a cute design that looks dressy enough to wear out to a nice dinner but casual enough to wear to say, a more relaxed gathering, a concert, etc. It is a bit too short to look professional to wear to work based on her height. For someone who is a bit shorter, it is a great length though, so keep that in mind. (They were not kidding when they said this is a "mini" dress - it is very much styled that way) One thing I want to mention - it's not a bad thing, but I'm not sure if it's a good one, either LOL. This dress has pockets! YAY! BUT...they are strangely...right in the front. As in...like a sweatshirt/hoodie does - kangaroo style. That gives you extra fabric in that area and while it's not a huge deal and not sticking out ridiculously - it's still a little...awkward? Let's put it this way - if you are someone who is always worried about clothing making you look heavier than you are, then this is probably not a good dress for you. If you are hanging on to a little extra weight (and who among us isn't, right?) then this might make you look a little heavier in this area, depending on your shape. I did not take a star off for this because it's not really a "flaw" of the dress, and hey...at least it HAS pockets. If you are slim then this is probably not going to be an issue for you, but I did want to mention it as something to consider. Other than that, the dress is great - it's well made with nice quality fabric, and it's a great "go-to" little black dress. It's priced about in line with other DKNY clothing. I would definitely still recommend it - but I would definitely keep the pocket issue in mind in case you think that will be a problem for you. Read more
