For the price, these look great in my hallway where people really aren't going to stop and stare at them. I would not put these in a bedroom, I think. I feel like the longer/more opportunity to stare at them, the more you start to notice that they are cheaply made. But that could be my own knowledge of how much I paid for them. I'll have to ask people what they think. They have a slightly Asian feel, which I like. They each take three bulbs, so you'll have to test out what works best for you in terms of brightness and color temperature. For me I settled on 3000K 40 watt-equivalent LED bulbs (after testing out lower temps) and they turned out great. I had to return my originals because they sent me silver instead of black, but exchange was a breeze. On install, the fixture did not actually sit flush against my ceiling because of the two screws that secure the fixture to the box, but that might be the way my boxes are rather than a problem with the fixture itself. Also, review all the pictures from the manufacturer in the Amazon listing. They clearly tell you the plastic shade DOES NOT screw onto the fixture itself, even though it looks like it could. I was so confused because the instructions don't tell you that. But when I came back to the listing to review the manufacturer's pictures, there it was telling me they didn't attach. For my hallway, though, these are basically perfect for the price. I'm very happy with them. Read more
