Hello, my name is Deb and I'm a pillow-aholic. My husband says I buy pillows like most women buy shoes. I have 3 different pillows from 3 different chiropractors. I have your pillow, my pillow and their pillow. I have wedge pillow, flat pillow, tall pillow, long pillow, short pillow. I FINALLY have THE pillow!!! I even put this pillow on my Subscribe and Save every 6 months for a bit, so that I can store them up in case they stop making them. This pillow is large. It's larger than I expected. It's very firm which I was wary of but it is very comfortable and supportive. My king size cases fit it just fine. This is everything I could ask for in a perfect pillow for me. I am 50% a back sleeper and then on each side during the night. I find I don't move or turn as much during the night which gives me deeper, more restful sleep. I'm sleeping longer/more than I was, not waking in the night as much as I was. My sleep is much more restorative for me now. I figured it would take me awhile to get used to it, to give it a fair trial. It didn't!!! Also, the price is awesome!!!! For the price, if a pillow is important to you, please, at least try it. Update 1/30/2021: Still working best for me. It has compacted some so if you like a certain loft, keep the extra!!! I am a side sleeper and often wake up in so much pain that I need to lay on my back for 30+ minutes before I can get out of bed. However, this weird shaped pillow has been a game changer. I have tried numerous pillows and yet this candy cane shaped pillow has been my savior. So much so, that while on vacation I purchased a second one and had it delivered to my air bnb. Now I have a travel pillow! I will say that the middle opening is where I assume my ear should fall...it does not. If it did this pillow might be perfect. I also wish the pillow case came in a darker color as pilling happens making the pillow look dingy regardless of washing. Read more
For side sleepers with neck problems, this pillow works great. It hugs my neck and fits right under my neck. It’s so soft and comfortable and I like the way the long piece hugs my back. I’m afraid though that it might be too soft and may not hold up very long. It would have been nice to have a pillow case made for it. Read more
I'm giving this hot mess 1 star because that's the lowest I can go. First the geometry of this thing makes it hard to align your ear with that tiny recessed are with the hard plastic button attached. Second, the ear "hole" is too small. Three the "hole" isn't a hold. It's just a recessed are and it's tiny. Four, and this is the big one, why is there a hard plastic button in the bottom of the tiny ear hole? It makes zero sense. Sure, if you hate someone buy them this pillow. Why is that button there? I would really like to read the minutes from that design meeting. Were they designing a pillow for people to experience ear pain? Don't buy this thing. The media could not be loaded. This pillow was a Godsend when I bought it in 2021. It’s worn down over the years, so I repurchased the same exact DMI pillow. Washed it as I always have, per instructions on the label. Gentle cycle, cold water. I take it out to air dry, and it’s already falling apart at the seams!! The pillow itself is just fine, it perked right up into its proper shape. But it’s nothing without the case holding it together. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like the quality of products I’ve been buying lately-especially on Amazon, are just what it once was. Read more

GO TO BOTTOM FOR UPDATE! When I was young I slept on my stomach but those days are long gone! I’ve developed a load of musculoskeletal issues in my neck, lower back and hips. Now I can only sleep on my right side. I usually only sleep 2 or 3 hours at a time because of pain. My shoulders were starting to bother me from sleeping on my side so I was hugging a pillow to keep them square with my hips. Now that I have this pillow I don’t have to hug a separate pillow anymore. I can lay my head on this pillow while hugging the other end of it. The first night I had it I slept for 5 hours straight! I like a fluffy pillow that my head sinks into so this works well for me. The fluff starts to flatten after use but you can wash the pillow on gentle cycle and dry on tumble dry low with a tennis ball, or something similar, in the dryer to fluff the pillow back up. I got my first pillow in December of last year and just replaced it in July of this year. I like it so much I went ahead and put it on the subscribe and save where I get a new one every 6 months. The “V” shape does start to spread over time and the stuffing stops fluffing as well so replacing it every 6 months seems reasonable particularly since the price is so spot on. Amazon also sells a TAOSON 300 thread count 100% cotton v-shaped/boomerang/envelope style slip on pillow case that I buy to have extra pillow cases on hand. It comes in several colors. It is a little bit longer than it needs to be but I’d rather have it longer than needed than shorter than needed. This is for those of us who don’t make their own pillow cases. I’ve noticed several people mentioned making their own but that isn’t my cup of tea. If it isn’t yours either then you can rest easy. You can buy a replacement pillow case if the white one it comes with doesn’t work for you or if that one wears out. UPDATE - I’M REALLY DISAPPOINTED! I’VE BEEN ORDERING THESE PILLOWS FOR 4 YEARS NOW AND I JUST GOT MY NEW ORDER. THEY COME IN A VACUUM SEALED PACK AND YOU LET THEM SIT OUT FOR AROUND 8 HOURS AND THEY SHOULD FULLY FLUFF. I LET MINE SIT OUT FOR 48 HOURS BECAUSE THEY WERE STILL HALF THE SIZE THEY NORMALLY FLUFF TO AFTER 8 HOURS. THEY NEVER FULLY FLUFFED UP. SEEMS THE COMPANY REDUCED THE AMOUNT OF FLUFF THEY PUT IN THEIR PILLOW BY HALF! WELL, THEY JUST LOST A CUSTOMER. I GAVE THE 2 PILLOWS I ORDERED TO MY MOM BECAUSE SHE LIKES PILLOWS THAT ARE REALLY LOW BECAUSE SHE SLEEPS WITH HER BED INCLINED. I HAD THESE PILLOWS ON AUTO ORDER. I WAS RECEIVING 2 NEW PILLOWS EVERY 6 MONTHS. THE NEW PILLOWS ARE FLATTER THAN MY OLD PILLOWS WHICH HAVE BEEN USED FOR 6 MONTHS! I ORDERED A NEW PILLOW TO TRY. IT COSTS MORE BUT IT WILL BE WELL WORTH IT IF IT HAS THE QUALITY THESE PILLOWS USED TO HAVE. Read more
