I looked for the largest allowable size of carry on allowed on European airlines--their sizing is different than for the U.S. Vueling Airlines allows: 15" x 11.8" x 7.8" and this sizing is very close. All items for an upcoming trip now fit in a carry-on sized suitcase and this carryon bag that easily fits over the handle of the suitcase. This carryon bag allows me to pack for 20 days using a small suitcase and one carry-on bag. I love that the bottom of the bag expands to hold other items, like a coat or food or drink after the flight. Seems sturdy--very happy with this purchase. Update: This bag did so well on my 20 day trip to Europe! Material is a soft, heavy water resistant (maybe even waterproof) material. Though I usually used the bag in its smaller sized I was happy I could unzip it to create a larger tote on occasion. This is now my go-to carry on for European airlines/smaller allowance carryons. Bonus the carry handles fit nicely over the shoulder and can be carried comfortably the small "security" zip area fits a large iPhone/boarding pass/passport. Handy when at the airport. I've used this for three trips on a plane so far. It's lightweight and it's holding up nicely. I love the way it's so easy to slip on the handle of my carry-on so I don't have to hold it on my shoulder all the time. Initially I was concerned about the quality of the zipper but it has held up well and I like the fact that you can unzip the bottom and make it a larger bag when needed. Just the right companion to hold my purse valuables and other use uses as a carry-on. Read more

This is ever more than I expected. Chose the black on white pattern and is very attractive. Very well thought out for a duffel bag. Its much nicer than a duffel bag. It has zippered compartments as well as 2 pouches inside, a wide slot to slip over the extended handle of a luggage piece with wheels. Hand strap as well as a long shoulder strap that is adjustable (it comes with it, inside the unit when received). Nice, yet, rugged material. This bag is perfect. The material is soft yet also sort of a plastic water and dirt repellent texture. It is really pretty light blue on the inside too along with a waterproof pocket and other pockets for your phone, etc.. It slides down over the handle of my suitcase and also expands to make larger if needed. I cannot see how it you couldn't fit everything you need into it. It couldn't be more perfect for me. I didn't give it a 5 sturdiness rating only because it is soft and that is exactly what I wanted as I didn't want a hard bottomed bag. This is very worth the price and very nice. I totally love it. This bag only survived a year unfortunately before the zipper came undone. I used it on several trips and never overstuffed it, but once the zipper came off the track, it was unusable. Overall, it was a good bag for packing large items on overnights. The interior could use more smaller or zipper pockets because it's just too big. Read more
