These weightlifting hooks help me push past the limits of my grip strength, allowing me to focus on the weight without worrying about my hands giving out. Compared to lifting straps, these hooks are way easier to use. Instead of taking time to wrap the straps, you just hook them on and go. They feel durable enough to last several years, maybe even through your entire lifting career. The Velcro straps are sturdy and secure. The one downside is that you can’t quickly release the weight by opening your hands like you would with straps. To detach the weight, you have to move the hook in the opposite direction of the bar, so don’t use these for pull-ups. You can actually get stuck mid-air if you’re not careful. They even offer a bit more hand protection than lifting straps. These hooks are a solid investment. Read more

Love dmoose brand. Have uses many products from them. After first trying these for abs and hanging I would say for me personally they can be hard on your wrists after hanging for awhile. Even having them tight they will still pull your wrist up making them fatigued but they definitely serve there purpose for being able to hang on for much longer and not to have your fingers jammed into a small bar. So comfortable for along time and much less stress on your inner fingers and palm. They tighten easy and stay on well. I will continue to use and recommend them . Read more

These lifting hooks are excellent, especially if you're aiming for a deep, targeted back workout. I’ve tried a variety of straps over the years, but these are by far the most convenient I’ve used. Even on curved bars, the hooks find a solid grip and allow for a strong, stable lift. I’ve had them for quite a while now, and they’re still holding up with no signs of wear or defects. Solid construction, easy to use, and perfect for anyone looking to save time on their pulling workouts. Read more

If you have large hands, the hooks don’t allow you to use your fingers at all. I am a first time user of this style, but it just doesn’t feel secure enough. The wrist wraps are amazing, but all I could focus on was the bar trying to slip out of the hook, or the hook slipping down the bar. Great for close grip rows, but lay pull downs or pull ups are a no go for me. IMO. Great quality built, great material. Hooks are metal and have a textured grip to them. Read more

I’m just getting back into the gym and wanted to try these as I dint want to sacrifice my fairly soft hands for some muscles. I figured if they didn’t work I’d return them and just suck it up - calluses and all To my surprise they’ve been fine, they definitely take some of the pressure off the hands Read more

These weight lifting hooks work great. They are strong and easy to put on your wrists. They allow me to increase my time on dead hang from a pull-up bar (however, this doesn't improve grip strength). Read more
