Overrall these are great pants but there are a few things buyers should know. My husband is truly a slim fit at 6 feet and 170 pounds and slim legs. But the pants are not truly slim especially in the upper thighs. More like a straight fit as another reviewer had noted. The elastane in the pants makes them adequately stretchy, but most men 40+ need a bit of elastic material - like hidden elastic tabs or some scrunchy elastic in the back to make sure the pants stay up. My husband resorts to a lot of belts. But when he's driving he unbuttons and unzips the pants for more comfort - he shouldn't have to do that. The pants are very durable, and have some really great hidden zipper pockets inside the main pocket. Excellent for stashing cash! Buyers should also be aware that the length will shink 2 inhces in the wash, even if dried on low. My husband is a true 32x31, and we had lots of problems with the 32x32 pants shrinking 2 inches to 32x30. So now we purchase 32x34 size pants, wash and dry them at least 2x, then we have them hemmed 1 inch. Read more
