This arrived on time. Jar and product seems fine. Just can't say for sure that it contains what it says and haven't taken enough to know if it's worthwhile. I generally use a powder collagen and use this only when I can't use the powder for one reason or another. Since this doesn't need to be mixed in anything it's convenient to take. Read more
This review is for Doctor's Recipes Multi Collagen Peptides, Type I, II, III, V, X, 1000 mg Per Serving, Vitamin C, Biotin, Hyaluronic Acid, Keratin, Turmeric, for Hair, Nails, Skin, Stay Active, Antioxidant, 60 Caps I’ve been taking Doctor’s Recipes Multi Collagen Peptides for about a month now, and I can already say I’ve noticed a difference — especially in my hair and skin. I take the recommended serving daily (2 capsules a day), and it’s been really easy to stay consistent. I like the ingredient lineup a lot. You’re getting multiple types of collagen (I, II, III, V, X) plus vitamin C, biotin, hyaluronic acid, keratin, and turmeric. It feels like more than just a basic collagen supplement — more like a well-rounded formula for hair, skin, nails, and joint support. As far as results, my hair is where I’ve noticed it the most. It feels thicker, looks healthier, and I’m already seeing better growth even after just a month. My nails seem stronger too, but the hair improvement is what really stands out. My skin also looks more hydrated and smoother — just healthier overall. I’ve also noticed some mild joint comfort improvement, especially on days when I’m more active. Nothing dramatic overnight, but definitely noticeable. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I haven’t noticed any beefy or weird aftertaste at all — which I was honestly half-expecting with collagen. No strange smell either. That makes it much easier to take daily without thinking about it. For 60 capsules (about a month’s supply at 2 per day), I think it’s a solid value for the money considering everything that’s included. Overall, I’m really happy with it and plan to keep it in my routine. Read more
My wife and I are at that age—I'm 50 and she's 45—where we are starting to pay a lot more attention to joint health and keeping our skin and hair looking decent. We’ve tried the powders before, but honestly, mixing them into coffee or smoothies every morning gets to be a hassle, and sometimes the texture is just gross. I grabbed this bottle because it looked like an easier way to get that collagen intake without the mess of the powders. What drew me to this specific one was the ingredient list. It isn't just basic collagen; it claims to have all the different types (I, II, III, V, X) plus extras like Biotin, Vitamin C, and Turmeric. My wife usually takes a separate Biotin supplement for her hair, and I take Turmeric for my knees, so having everything combined into one capsule is actually really convenient. It saves us from having a countertop full of different pill bottles. The capsules themselves are standard size, not those massive "horse pills" that get stuck in your throat. They go down easy, and importantly, there’s no weird aftertaste or burps later, which happens with some of the cheaper supplements we’ve tried. The bottle contains 60 capsules, which is a decent supply to test out whether it works for your system without committing to a massive bulk order. We’ve been taking them for a couple of weeks now, and we are actually seeing some changes. My wife has noticed her hair feels a little thicker and has more shine to it than usual, which she attributes to the biotin mix. I've noticed my skin feels a bit more hydrated and less dry, especially on my hands and elbows where it usually gets rough this time of year. It’s not a miracle cure, but the improvements are definitely noticeable. For around ten bucks, this is a no-brainer if you want to add collagen to your routine but don't want to spend forty dollars on the big brand names. It’s affordable, packs a lot of good ingredients into one dose, and is way easier than dealing with messy powders. We’ll likely be ordering another bottle to keep the streak going. Read more
I've been taking these for a while now, and to be honest, they _seem_ to be working pretty well. In the interest of full disclosure, I started on these after having taken other collagen peptides previously, so it's possible some of the positive effects are residual. Also, it's likely that it would take longer to feel them than if you were just starting to take collagen. I take collagen for my health - I have a bad left knee and I want tighter skin and fuller hair. Pretty straightforward there. These capsules are normal sized and, for me, easy to swallow. The ingredients are top-notch - grass-fed, free-range beef, cage-free chickens, wild seafood. No issue there. I take 3 capsules in the am. So far, I've noticed that my knee is moving with less pain, and I haven't felt it catch in a while. My skin is tighter and hydrated. And my wife is all over me to get a haircut a week earlier than I would, so it appears that its growing faster than normal. All positive developments. It's possible that this is due to other factors, but it seems that these peptides are really working for me. I certainly feel a bit better. I'm even doing squats at the gym again, which I had to refrain from for a while because the range of notion in my knee was limited. I can't totally say that these developments are due to these peptides, but I'm not going to argue about that either. Do your research on types of collagen, but I recommend these. Read more
