It looks and works as stated in the description. It hangs from our doorknob and stops right above the threshold. I have slammed it in the door on multiple occasions, and it still looks and sounds great. My dog loves to boop it when he needs to kinda go and shake it vigorously when he needs to really, really go. It is loud enough to be heard in other rooms of the house, but not so loud that it is disturbing. Even the cat has learned to hit it when he wants to be let out for some fresh air. Read more

These bells looks nice and have the prettiest jingle….. not too loud and not too quiet, just right. They look pretty on the back door, and the length is perfect for my 2 mini dachshunds. Works great for our dog! Made sure to measure from the door handle to the floor to make sure our little puppy could reach it. It’s been over a year and still going strong. The bell sound isn’t annoying like some could be. Took about an hour to completely train my puppy to use this, I was actually very shocked how easy it was to train her to use this. I will say though that the white color has become or just looks a little dingy over time. Maybe I should’ve picked a different color, but it’s not a huge bother! Read more
We have tried other bell set and these are the only ones we found that were long enough for our shorter dog to reach. Having multiple bells on the string means they are louder for us to hear. They are light weight enough so when the dog was a puppy, all they had to do was brush by them and they would rattle and they have lasted through the puppy stage and will probably get many more uses out of them. I have always trained my dogs on the bell. It’s amazing! So easy to train with, and you will never miss hearing if a new pup needs to go outside. I chose this bell over previous ones I’ve used because it was cute lol. My new pup likes to grab the bottom tassels and shake it as hard as she can. My older dog just touches it barely with her nose. It creates the perfect amount of noise to hear from any room in our house. I also like that the part you put around the door knob is a latch instead of the traditional Velcro. Read more
I attached this to a baby gate we had to install on our stairs so our cat could let us know when he needed to go downstairs where his litter boxes are. He learned super quickly and it has been really effective. We can hear the bells loud and clear, and appreciate that the length is adjustable.
