I purchased this product because it is marketed as both a dog breath freshener and a tartar remover. My pup loves salmon fish skin treats, but they always leave his breath pretty fishy. Despite brushing his teeth nightly, the smell persisted. After reading reviews about this spray’s effectiveness, including some people using it themselves, I decided to try it on my dog. I spray once on each side of his mouth, then brush his teeth again. The unpleasant odor is noticeably reduced and I have also seen improvement in his tartar buildup over time.
