These Dog door bells are awesome. They’re stylish and functional and exactly what I wanted. The bells are just loud enough without being annoying and they make a pleasant ringing sound - not piercing. Also, the bells and rope both compliment my farmhouse decor perfectly. I especially love the vintage open bell design because my sister’s lab recently pulled a claw out by getting it stuck in one of the holes of a sleigh bell style door bell, so I definitely wanted to stay away from those. Luckily I found these bells and couldn’t be happier. We haven’t picked up our new puppy yet but I’ll update again once she’s used them for awhile. Definitely recommend. Read more

When family or friends come over they thought I was crazy. My dog never would tell you that he had to go out, and with these bells on my door he lets us know and no more going potty in the house. This was the best tool we bought for potty training our puppy. He’s very smart, he figured out the correlation quickly and even as an adult still rings to bell to go outside when he needs to. It’s also a cute product which makes it even better since it has to be out constantly. The only downside is that our cat (who is an inside only cat with no outdoor privileges but a great deal of outdoor longing) has learned how to ring the bell also and attempt to use this great product for fraudulent purposes. They say it is rare for a dog's claw to get stuck in those "conventional" bells with slits in them, but it does happen. It was so horrifying, I removed them and waited for these to arrive. Although my dog was gun shy about bells in general, she transferred to these in about a week and now uses them without any hesitation, just like she used the "conventional" bells. However, I know that she will never get a claw stuck in this one, and that makes these the best kind. Bonus: they look better. Read more

We trained both of our large dogs on potty bells so naturally they are constantly being rung all day long. I hated the look of normal ones and found these cute ones on Amazon and they are ADORABLE! Not only are they cute, but they are incredibly durable. Our 2 large very strong dogs (and many foster dogs) are ringing these all day long and they still look good as new after 1 year.
