excellent quality. so much easier and cheaper than the vet! We have two Pomeranians who need their teeth brushed daily. we've been doing this diligently with virbac toothpaste and it has been very good at maintaining their teeth, but in the last year, we have seen more brown tartar build up, especially near the gumline of both dogs. We tried a manual scaler but this took a lot of time so, after reading the reviews, we decided to try this product. Looks like a sonicare type toothbrush and is silent unless it touches their teeth. Neither dog loves it but one we have gotten multiple teeth done in a few days of cleaning for just 1-2 minutes at a time and the other one we are getting used to it touching his teeth for a few seconds at a time (he hates it for now but is getting better). The tartar almost comes right off and is working well. Battery life seems very good (we just charged it initially when we bought it and it has worked without charging for several days already). We clean with just running water and a paper towel. Very easy. Such a good addition to just brushing. Our dogs' breath are noticeabley better. Read more
Absolutely amazing! If you have a well behaved dog- buy this product immediately! You will not regret it! Vet bills are expensive- and I wanted to be diligent with my dogs care, but also save money. My vet wanted to charge me $150 for anesthesia and teeth cleaning. I have a good dog and she is getting older (13), so I hated to put her under for a simple teeth cleaning. So I decided to try this because I knew she would sit still for me. And this product worked perfectly. The description is correct. It does not vibrate or make any noise. Which is great, because it won’t scare your dog. The plaque came off in big chucks, so I was able to grab it without her swallowing most of the plaque. It also removes the plaque fairly quickly. I would say, maybe under a minute per tooth. You do have to be careful not to get too close to the gum, because she did have little bleeding near the gum line. I immediately stopped using the ultra-sonic device, and used one of the pik tools this set included instead. I scraped the plaque near line, then continued with the ultra-sonic device. So, overall, it worked great. One of the best products for your pet! Now that her teeth are clean, I will start using a plaque additive to her water to help as well. Get this product- it’s a great device and a great price. Read more
This product works! But you have to be patient. They do hate it, it makes a sound when it touches the tartar but it’s not too too bad. I’ve had another brand and it was awful. I used it on 2 small dogs that had a very large amount of tartar built up and after second day it’s almost all removed. Added pictures to show the “after” I do recommend this product! Read more
I received the product yesterday and plug it to be charged. It came in a very good packaging with a full kit of dental tools to even make the cleaning better. The ultrasonic tool looks sturdy and made with good materials, Three dental tips came with the kit in case you need to replace one or decide to go with the flat head tip according to the instruction manual. Durability of the product will depend on the quality of the ustrasonic generator and the battery pack itself, so in that aspect only time will tell. When charged I decidad to give it a try on my teeth, I would never do something on my dog that wouldn't try myself, and the tool actually works, the only downside was that me in contact with the hard surface of the teeth the tooth cleaner makes a high pitch noise, the one the odontoligist makes with their tools. So if your dog is very sensitive to noise and is not used to have its teeth cleaned this is going to be a challenge, this is the reason I give it 4 stars, the product is good, works but if it is intented to be used on pets. (dogs and cats) without any calming aid if they are not used to have their teeth cleaned, it is going to be very difficult to make a use if this great tool. Do I recommend it? YES, only if your dog is used to get its teeth cleaned. Is it durable? Maybe, depends on how long the battery lasts. Read more
I’m not much of a reviewer, but after using this device, I just had to let you guys know IT IS WORTH IT! If your dog lets you groom him/her, and they let you around their mouth area, why spend hundreds or potentially thousands of dollars on a vet teeth cleaning appointment?? This device is top tier. I managed to remove both of my maltipoo’s tarar and plaque. I started off slow with the slow/comfort modes and as they got used to it, I slowly turned the intensity up. It’s easy to use, the noise is not bad at all, the size of it is manageable for easy access to every tooth, and the little flash light is a plus! Do not wait until your pups teeth get rotten to help their dental health. This is definitely a necessity and I’m glad I bought it. Read more
