This device is AMAZING! I thought it’s a water floss kinda thing, but it’s actually a powerful yet gentle grind kinda thing! It came with different cleaning head but I find the narrower heads works a lot better than the wide heads. My little dog has severe hardened plaques on all of her teeth, it’s clumsy to use the traditional dental tools to scrape off the buildup and she hates it, therefore we don’t do it enough so the plaques become real bad. To my surprise, my dog doesn’t mind the gentle grinding motion of this device, after a while she even fell asleep, snoring, lol, as I was slowly chipping away the stubborn buildup on her teeth. This is a fantastic tool, if you are someone hands on and don’t mind putting in a bit of work. For severe buildups, it’ll require a few sessions with careful work. The results are amazing, I’d say almost same as professional cleaning if you do a good job. I’ve spent nearly a thousand dollar on professional teeth cleaning for my dog, but just like glooming it requires frequent service, so it’s either broke wallet or bad teeth for my dog. I finally feel I have confidence to clean my dog’s teeth properly now and keep them clean easily. What a blessing that I found this affordable device, and I have to say that it also has great build quality and comes with all kinds of other useful dental tools - what a deal! The best deal actually! The only thing I find it annoying is that the button gets in the way when I’m working on my dogs teeth, it gets pressed accidentally a lot. If they could switch the tip around, it’ll probably prevent that from happening. One tip to make your dog cooperate while working on their teeth is to swaddle your dog in a big towel, so they can’t move around and fight you. But I find once I get my dog in a comfy position, she really doesn’t resist or hate the micro grinding motion.
