This has been a raving success after many failures!!! The main points before the long version (which will include popular brand comparisons): -Dries very quickly, which is a necessity for active dogs -great texture when dry: silky instead of oily -Nice, mild scent -Made in an FDA registered facility -No sunburns all day when reapplied regularly! Okay, now our story: My girl has very short hair that is practically transparent, so she burns very easily. We’ve tried a sunsuit (too flimsy and expensive), we’ve tried *zinc and PABA-free* baby sunscreen, the frog stuff a vet recommended, and don’t get me started on epi-pet—which is apparently the only FDA approved pet sunscreen; the almond scent was so bad that my dog had a sneezing fit and flung herself all over the place trying to get it off, and she was apparently successful because in 30 minutes she burned. She absolutely hates anything spray or aerosol now, so I have to spray it on my fingers and quickly apply it to her nose and ears because it dries so fast, but that also means I don’t have to worry about it coming off when she rubs her tummy in the grass or wrangling her out of the water long enough to let it dry. She’s gotten used to it enough that I can spray it straight on her tummy which is MIRACULOUS for us. We played and swam outside for a week straight and I made sure to reapply every 90 minutes, same as I do for myself, and not a sunburn in sight on those pink little ears and snout. The smell is very mild and pleasant, it has a silky feel to it when dry instead of that oily residue Read more

I’m so glad I found this sunscreen for my dog! My pup loves being outdoors, and I’ve always worried about his nose and ears getting too much sun. This spray is easy to apply, not greasy, and has no strong smell, which he appreciates. I also love that it’s made with natural ingredients and is safe if he happens to lick a little after application. It gives me peace of mind knowing he’s protected with SPF 30, and it’s water-resistant, so I don’t have to reapply constantly. Definitely a must-have for summer adventures with your dog! Read more

Used this on my dogs for lake days and backyard time worked great! I couldn’t really smell anything, which I liked, and it stayed on surprisingly well. Super easy to use and gave me peace of mind knowing they were protected. Read more

Helped keep my dogs nose from burning. Only four stars because it was difficult to put on. I thought it would mist and go on his coat like his dry shampoo, but it is like bottled sunscreen with a pump and he was not a fan of me rubbing it in. It did the job though when we were out in the scorching sun all day. Read more

I’m so glad I found this sunscreen for my dog! It’s lightweight, easy to apply, and doesn’t have a strong scent. My pup usually hates anything being put on her, but she didn’t mind this at all. I use it on her nose, ears, and belly before we go out in the sun, and it gives me peace of mind knowing she’s protected. It stays on well, even during playtime or light water splashes, and I love that it’s made with natural ingredients. No redness, no irritation—just solid protection. Perfect for any pet parent who spends time outdoors with their dog. Read more

For a trip I required sunscreen for the minimally exposed areas of my dog when outside. She has long curly Yorkshire Terrier hair so she is mostly covered however I specifically chose this because it said nose ears safe to use. Unfortunately when I received the package and read the instructions it said to avoid the face and nose all together it also sprayed a powder finish leaving a white residue as well. For her this meant the worst Tangles we've ever seen and her hair is typically very well conditioned and cared for it dried her skin almost immediately I feel the same effect of this product could come from powdering talc or cornstarch onto your dog though I'm sure it has other ingredients I was immensely dissatisfied with this product and returned it immediately I replaced it with the Wella dog brand which actually conditioned her hair during use and was fantastic and able to be applied indirectly to nose and ears I recommend using that instead or perhaps a leading brand though I have not tried them. The only thing I can give them a positive note on is the packaging which seemed very travel friendly the lid and size is suitable for throwing into your doggy bag without worrying about the lid coming off or spray occurring. For me personally I would never recommend this product to anyone Read more

I got this to use on my dogs nose where the pink skin shows through. The sunscreen seems to work and she hasn’t has any redness where I’ve put it (which she gets if we don’t use sunscreen). The spray applicator didn’t work very well for me though. And it’s a bit tough to blend but I don’t care too much because it works well and is safe for my dog Read more

My dogs love to run and play in the sun but living in TX when it is hot they dont really want to stay outside, my vet stated with them both having black coats I should protect them from the sun. Like dogs can get sun burned was a shock to me! THIS PRODUCT IS A GAME CHANGER. My dogs seem to know the difference after I used it on them once, they stand at the door waiting for me to put it on before they go outside like really?? They dont stay out that long but knowing this is protecting their nose and ears gives me peace of mind that it would be burned. Shows white cast on their fur but once you give a good rub it blends in also a mild smell which wont make them sneeze (including myself) Read more
